Well , as far back 2020 they were excellent. But now after COVID they aren't nearly as credible as they once was. All they want is to over sell their products. I have a long-haired chi who they treat there . I had a flea problem outside in the mhp where I live my house and yard are treated as well but it's to no avail they sold me a flea product that doesn't work on my dog and is the worst off I ever seen . I called and they tell me to flea bath him . But you can only once a week . The product is simparica, I don't recommend it at all . Trifeices is much better and effective by far..so I'm stuck with a 140. Dollar garbage I won't give my dog .where and what now..

I recently have a deceased pet. Call the wellness plan which is offered through Benfield animal hospital and I was told that it didn't matter since my pet was deceased I was responsible for paying the rest of the year. And if I wanted to discontinue the coverage I could do it then when it's time to renew. What they don't tell you is that when you use the service if the amount spent on services exceeds the amount spent on your monthly charge you're responsible for the rest of it or continue to pay the rest of the year with that term. So now I have a deceased pet. I have to pay health insurance until October when her policy is renewable or nonrenewable . I think it's very cold, and they're part for somebody to do something like this.. I would never suggest anybody to get their wellness plan.

Dr. Shaw has been really great with my s’mores. I’ve been using the banfield plan for him since 2015, and we’ve recently been using the westbay location for the last two years, and they have always been really caring to s’mores and informing me of what’s going on.

This location - at least today, 4/12/2023 - closes at 5pm - not 6pm - as google/sign on door says.Amazing staff. Good service. Like the freestanding Banfields moreso than the ones located within Petsmart... Nothing wrong with either but I feel like I'm able to interact with and learn more from the folks that are caring for my dog here.

Im giving Banfield threes star for the simple fact they are extremely busy and if there’s availability for an vet for that day they cancel appointments and don’t call or text. They were really good for my senior cat for years just slightly unreliable.( more unreliable the last few years with the amount of people moving here)They also did not update my pet’s vaccination records for some reason. They are gentle with the animals and very friendly even with the high volume of patients. I have a local vet now because it took three weeks to get in and the vaccine records weren’t updated this last year this my for senior cat. This place is great for visits that are not emergencies and can wait if needed.

There was a mix up with our appointment but they were quick to accommodate our needs! The doctor and staff was wonderful with our large dog and the whole appointment was quick and easy! Definitely will recommend them!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff; explained everything that would be done to my cat, and by discussing a health an for her, I felt it was time to do that since my cat is now in excess of 11 years old. If anything goes wrong with her health h, it's bound to happen within the next few years. The Plan was not only the smart thing to do from a potential future savings viewpoint, but it saved me more than $500 for the Thursday visit itself! I'm glad I bought it, and happy to have my cat, Nisha, being cared for by the staff at the Largo Banfield Pet Hospital!

It would be a five but amber’s attitude is absolutely ridiculous. She is rude and I watched her sit and pick her skin at the desk. Rude on the phone and in person. A change up front is needed. Her attitude is dampening to the whole team. The nurses and doctors are great but she is the first person people see and hear on the phone and her attitude is the worst I’ve seen in customer service in a while.

This Banfield hospital went above and beyond for our amazing golden retriever, Hudson. We have been blown away with their care and professionalism. Dr. Concepcion performed a splenectomy on our boy and removed all of the cancer that she was able to, he recovered like a champ. We had three incredible months with him postop, he came back to life fully! Unfortunately we had to put our boy to sleep last week, the entire staff has been there with us every step of the way, I cannot speak highly enough about this Banfield location ❤️
