Did not like this place one bit. Read bad reviews but went in anyway. Made a appointment for a simple nail trimming and flea meds. Pushed up sales constantly and then was told to leave our cat. It took 4 hours to trim nails and get meds that they would not even put on her. Why make a damn appointment if they can’t do it when they say. Had to do a rabies shot before they would even do a nail trim. So two trips to this place and over $200 just to get nails trimmed. Pathetic!!!!!!!! I will never go back or recommend this place. Again this place is pathetic 4 hours with a appointment for a nail trim and flea meds that were not even put on her.

If you are okay with having your pet shoved in a kennel for hours on EVERY visit then this is the place for you. I signed up for the Puppy plan thinking this would be a great place and be a great value. When you have to take off of work and WAIT for hours for them to call you to come get your pet its wasting your time. Most importantly its unfair to your furry friend's that every exam, every shot, every check up here is supposed to be a drop off exam because they are perpetually overbooked so your pet is put in a cage to wait for hours. Signing up no one mentioned this. Our first wellness exam we spoke to the vet on the phone after he had been there for HOURS. Second appointment was supposed to be for two shots and maybe a check for puppy worms and they wanted him to be dropped off and again they would call eventualy. Didn't tell me until we were standing there day of it was a drop off appointment. This is a corporation making the most money they can the quickest way they can by seeing so many patients they have to have them wait for hours. Their are better places in Pinellas county that actually care about their patients and also respect their time enough not to have them waiting hours 4+ for a quick exam and a few shots. Call around and actually find a good veterinarian practice. I have called and have an appointment later today for the same service for $80 out of pocket today. They said if i canceled after he received shots today the value of todays visit would of have been an addinal $180. Not only do they treat your animal worse by making them stay for hours in a cage, they waste your time and then they also charge more than double what some other vets do in the area.

Services getting horrible. I been there 3 years and my dog on the profile. Book an appointment and Schedule for annual checkup and next day took day off to bring my dog in. They are not able to pull any record or profile details. Not sure if it’s the system or the person.

How it says they open at seven, but nobody is answering. The phone phone does not even ring will be calling corporate on this office.update thanks for the response back in trying to rectify situation I finally got through was just upset that I didn't get through until 740 when u guys say open but phone not ringing

They are one of the worst places to take your pet, my dogs are traumatized because of them. I go to another vet that lets you stay with them, during all procedures, unlike Banfield. Worse mistake in my life was taking them to that place.

My dog is on the wellness plan and I do find it to be a way to keep a routine for my dog, keep his preventive care up-to-date, and have a safety net in place for more urgent matters, if they come up. The customer service from the front desk is definitely lacking. If you call you will probably be placed on a long hold and when you get there you may not be fully acknowledged or handled in a timely manner. At the end of the day, my dog loves coming here and I feel he is very well cared for. Dr. Piedt clearly has a deep love and passion for animals and it is apparent in her interactions. She is always informative of what occurred at the visit and makes recommendations but is never pushy on anything that my dog may not entirely need. Overall, I’m very happy with my experience. They’re also open on Saturday, which is awesome!

This place is Unprofessional, we been cancel 2 times already for our appointment and we don’t find out into we are in the store . They would called to confirm the appointment but they don’t called when they cancel the appointment or they decide closed that day . It’s a waste of gas and time . Like don’t called to confirm an appointment and the next day be closed without a notice. Unprofessional .

I am usually happy with the care my pet receives at Banfield. This past visit he did not receive the correct amount of heart worm medication that I pay for in his care plan.

Lisa and fill in from another location Mikayla are not the best when it comes to de-escalation from confused or firm and frustrated customers.After calling in trying to address the miss information from different doctors, misinformation and confusion and lack of notes within my own account , addressing people who talked over me and addressing and wanting to resolve and face that situation head on when I was hung up on got me this resolution as their first resort.“This isn’t my store , I can’t help you.” “Right this want my fault!” “Well you can just go elsewhere “ “ I don’t know who works here .” “I’m just filling in.”If the business doesn’t address miscommunication, miss perception or know how to de-escalate and resolve issues with the customer and their immediate response is to hang up on you & is to tell you to leave. I do suggest that you do leave. I also suggest not trusting your pet with this specific location.If they so boldly and confidently told me to leave when I was bold enough and firm enough to address confusion, how are they treating your pet?
