Caliber Collision did a great job in the repair of our car. They kept us updated on what was happening and were courteous and personable. They returned our car in tiptop shape, both in the repairs and the appearance of our car.

We had initially taken our vehicle to this location suggested by our insurance company for a repair. The quality of work seemed to be fine until we started experiencing leaks when it rained. We took it back to Caliber Largo twice for this issue. After the third time, we requested to have it taken to a different location closer to home as this location was 90 minutes away from us. When we took it to our local Caliber the GM informed us that the quality of work was not good and they did not like the work done by the Largo location. After our local caliber did their corrective work everything seemed fine until this week when the leak returned. I called caliber in largo to inform them of the issue again as they are the ones that initially worked on our vehicle. Our original service advisor left the company so I spoke with the new service advisor named Vanessa. She lacked professionalism and would cut me off in the middle of my sentences. I would have hope they understood my frustration as we have been dealing with the same issue for months. We no longer want to work directly with this location. If you have other options, I would suggest avoiding caliber largo.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake going with one of my insurance companies “premiere vendors“ and had the worst experience by doing so with Caliber Collision on Ulmerton Road in Largo. As an insurance agent myself, I was very shocked at how State Farm and Caliber Collision are very much. “in bed with each other“ And now understand why State Farm calls them “their vendor”. On top of that, Caliber’s estimator didn’t know what they were doing as They had to go through six different estimates before They “believed it was the final estimate. On top of that, when I walked in the door the 1st Estimate started at $3400 and by the 6th estimate it was almost twice that at over $6600! By doing this, State Farm decided to total out My car and not repair it. Caliber kept asking me what State Farm said the car value was and when they thought it was much higher, that’s when they raised the estimate! After Escalating the situation to upper management at State Farm corporate, and explaining what was going on behind-the-scenes at Caliber, I convinced them to let me go to a truly qualified body shop right down the road, Florida Auto Body who actually does Pinellas county sheriff and Highway Patrol cars And has an expert metal department and a man who’s been there over 45 years do the job out the door for $3900! Lastly, when I came to pick up my car, and the receptionist gave me my key, she said caliber required me to sign a document, waving my rights to possible liability on their part after they remove parts. When I told them I would not sign it as I couldn’t verify if they put the parts back on properly, the receptionist tried to keep me from leaving. However, I explained it was my car and they don’t have a right to hold it or I hostage. Do not waste your time at Caliber Collision if you don’t want to be taken advantage of. Had I listened to them, the insurance company would us have taken and totaled out my car and I would’ve been left without one.
** In response to Caliber’s message below: My facts stated are 100%. The logic is nobody would walk away from someone who’s doing honest business. Trust me when I say, do not waste your time here… Go to a fabulous body shop right down the road… Florida Body Shop & ask for Anthony. They are honest, competitive and know exactly what they are doing.**

Caliber Collision did a bang-up job on my car! (See what I did there?) But seriously, there are so many things to appreciate about them and their excellent customer service, which is such a rarity these days. Patty kept me posted on the progress of my repair and even made the effort to save me some money on parts. They have very high standards for their work and want to ensure the customer is satisfied.
