The way the place is advertised, I thought it would be bigger with more opportunity to interact with animals. It is good for children.

Love this place. Have been going there since it opened. Very disappointed in all the negative reviews. I think this is an amazing place to give your child a small interaction with animals. People don't realize how expensive it is to take care of these animals and how much work it involves. The owner does his best and does an amazing job at it. People complain about $2 feed or $10 entrance but don't realize how much it costed to make this place so amazing not only for us but also for these animals. Lots of negative people without a clue on how to raise farm animals.

We went for the medieval fair. We weren't very happy. $15 per person admission, even for kids, then everything inside, of which there wasn't much, is an extra cost. Even the entertainers asked for tips. The petting zoo was supposed to be included, but that only meant petting the animals through the fence. If you wanted to go inside with the animals it was another $10, which felt like false advertising. It wasn't worth the money.

Attended the Renaissance. $49. I wanted turkey legs and see Blacksmith. The grill was down- so no turkey, unfortunately the Blacksmith had a death in the family so that wasn't available either. I grew up on a near farms so seeing animals is fun- this left my heart broken. These animals are not treated well. Donkeys hoofs were neglected-its obvious he doesn't get brushed. Many in mud- hay and mulch needed. Rabbits with big gashes in ears(nit enough separation) I could go on and on. The goat ladies are the only reason for a star. Also the manager I spoke to was RUDE and seemed so disoriented like he was on drugs or drunk

We attended the 2nd annual Midieval fest. You can pay in advance for less or cash at the door. Events paid for with tickets. Food such as turkey legs and pretzels in shape of goats. The pretzels are more like a pita but still pretty good. Lots of vendors and entertainers. Wine, beer & mead (of course! ) for adult patrons. Chickens, ponies, and baby goats. You can purchase a $5 bag of feed for the animals, and this is a ton of fun for everyone! I didn't see anyone having a bad time. It was a ton of fun.

Took our grandson yesterday, price was expensive… they advertised over 30 inches in height was full price $10 so $30 total, if you want to purchase animal food a shot glass size cup was $2 and a 16oz.(or so) cup was $10..Yes $10. What a ripoff . No petting zoo only rabbits can be petted and held and adult goats through a fence , no up close interaction. There was a pig pen that was so disgustingly putrid it should have been cleaned out before opening…you could not even stand near it to see the pigs without feeling nauseous. We were in and out in half an hour not much to see …just a roadside tourist trap, save your hard earned money and bring the kids elsewhere.

The place is nice but very small. One sweet guy in the front and that's it.They have goat, chickens. Pigs, bunny's one donkey and ponys, you basically walk on your own and can feed them. The only issue I had the pony bite and drag my baby finger! And I know how to feed animals for some reason after he finished the food in her hand he bite her finger so bad. We had to leave since she was bleeding bad. And like I said no one else was there watching or anything beside the guy in the front. I might go back later on but not anytime soon.

I went to tour this place to possibly consider having my wedding here. There were five people total including myself. When I arrived the owner who told me he would be there for the tour was not there, and the woman I was greeted by had attitude. I proceeded the tell her I was there for a tour and she told me it would be 50 dollars to tour. Now the email was a bit mis leading stating 10 dollars per person to explore the farm but I wasn’t coming to hang out and enjoy the petting zoo I was there to see if it was where I wanted to get married. I spoke to my Fiance because we weren’t excepting a charge to begin with if we wanted to reschedule and she then called her boss to see if we could do it for free like how most wedding venue tours are supposed to be. She proceed to tell him how we were broke and was very rude about the whole thing. Overall I am not impressed with this place or its staff And it’s unfortunate because I have heard nothing but decent things. Defiantly rubbed me the wrong way from the start.

One of my favorite places in town! There's something for the whole family here. I love all the fun events they have going on throughout the year. The rabbit area is a favorite for me and my kids. It's so fun to cuddle them! Feeding the goats is the best. They get so excited! All the animals seem so happy to see the guests, which makes it that much more enjoyable. My daughter is somewhat scared of animals (even dogs!), but she loves coming here. If you have little ones who are a little unsure of animals, this is a great place to take them.

Animal welfare is concerning. No fresh water is available to all animals even on such a hot day. All water stations are caked with mud or bone dry. Rabbit area has no monitoring so kids are chasing, stepping on and dropping rabbits (who are prey animals and can break their own backs from poor handling and stress). Rabbits have fleas, intact and breeding, urine scalded, etc. I know it’s a farm but it takes barely any effort to improve these situations. Staff was very friendly so hopefully some adjustments can be made.

We went during the haunted house activities and loved it! Price was 37$ each to get in, which included both haunted houses, the spooky hayride, access to the farm animals and the game area (Tic tac toe, jenga, etc). There's a large seating area with many picnic tables, Porta potty. They had a food truck with snack foods and a bar with adult refreshments, all were very reasonably priced. You could pay extra to feed the animals (2$ or 10$) or you could pay to go sit in the goat pen and pet and hold them. Credit cards and cash accepted. Parking in front and on the side, all free. The characters and staff were amazing. The women at the front area were so lovely and sweet, the characters followed people around to give extra spooky vibes. The ringmaster at the circus was my favorite, very entertaining. I'm looking forward to next year. Oh, there's an area to purchase pumpkins too, even clearance pumpkins for 7$. I took my 17 yr old, 11 yr old and a couple adult friends- everyone loved it.

We went on a Sunday & met our son's family w/ grandson (4 yrs) & granddaughter (13 months). The place was very busy, parking on both sides of Lake Ave for hundreds of yards. The activities we liked the most were the petting zoo, goat enclosure, & pony ride. There were only two ponies though, one of which didn't want anything to do with having a bridle put on, so after repeated attempts by the staff member, bit her on the thigh. We were told later the ponies were rescue animals. The areas we thought needed serious improvement were the Hayride & the Food. The former (wagon) is pulled by a gasoline powered tractor which belches out a constant plume of noxious exhaust (how about an EV or Propane propulsion tractor?), & the jolt generated when the ride starts from a stop (twice) was enough to dislocate a person's joint. The worst part of all was the food. It was horrid! The hot dog bun was dried out & rubbery; the "pulled pork" was grizzly, fatty, with bits of cartilage (yuck). The tutorial tots & Mozzarella sticks were undercooked/doughy. Do not go for the food!

it was 20.00 dollars to get in per person, didn't matter if child or adult. There were 4 of us. They did give you 20 tickets but the only thing to use it for was pony ride that was 10 each person. Food was extra and expensive. There were hardly any animals to pet. Also tickets for pumpkin shot but they didnt collect, which was good cause not worth it. I think 20.00 per person is ridiculous, parents should be free they buy the food, kids should be 5.00 or 20.00 food free, just not worth it. wasn't that great. won't be going back.
