BEWARE ! NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS ARE WORKING!!! SABRIA INFORMED ME I WAS NOT ABLE TO USE THE RESTROOM BECAUSE FAMILY DOLLAR DIDNT HAVE A PUBLIC WORKING RESTROOM! FAMILY DOLLAR GET YOUR RESTROOMS UP AND WORKING FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS THIS IS HORRIBLE !!! I AM A PAYING CUSTOMER !!!!!!!

First off , let me start by saying that pulling into the parking lot we were kind of taken aback by the green mold all along the side of the building (including their outdoor ice machine) . The mold started from one side of the building and went almost right to their front door. The moldy ice machine was concerning . Being we only needed cleaning supplies we opted to go in . The interior of the store was in pretty rough shape as to cleanliness also. Dirty floors,trash lined the aisles and even seen an eaten lollipop stick stuck to the floor.
All the shelves were completely stocked and part of the reason we like Family Dollar is the wide variety of things they carry and their lower prices.
Other than the gentleman who rang us up at the counter (who was funny and very friendly) ,we didn't see any other employees present. Maybe that is why the store was in that state of uncleanliness?!
We were able to get everything we needed and even things we didn't plan on getting and had we gone anywhere else no doubt it would have cost much more . Everything was good as far as convenience, stock,cost and the friendly employee but because of the state of cleanliness inside the building and the mold outside ,I can't give more than 2 stars . Normally I would give less than 2 stars on the lack of cleanliness alone.
I heard they are short handed and it would he hard to man the register and clean , but if we return and the conditions are improved ,I will update my review.

Today is Monday Dec 9 10:58am I just left the store they have a hiring sign outside the front door I put in a application Thursday I been calling and calling no answer then when I get there the lady at the front counter told me that the phone was off or broken I asked for a manager and I just seen hem outside talking on the phone. The lady upfront goes to the back to tell hem and he says to tell me he is in a meeting and to leave my information again on a recipe paper and. I was pissed because they have a sign and I just seen the manager outside talking on the phone

This is "my" store. Great deals on everything. Pens, paper, makeup, cleaning supplies, comforters, etc
Perfect for oh no I'm out of situations. Like having a cookout, picking up a gift card on the way to a birthday party. The staff are upbeat and very kind.

Messy. Nothing electronic EVER works. Their not even really discounted only on SOME very few items. Same price as Walmart tbh. The food isn't cheaper either.

How can you call yourself family dollar. And you won’t even let paying customers use a restroom. That doesn’t seem very family oriented. This completely blew me away I was instructed to go across the street to a gas station. When I asked if that’s a new company policy the employee was kind of rude and said how am I supposed to know. I won’t be coming back it was appalling.

My husband stopped in earlier today with my baby to grab some things. The larger redhead gentleman working there was absolutely awful. He was rude when asked a question about something in stock as well as my husband clearly was having an issue with my babies diaper and needed to change it and basically scolded my husband saying the restrooms aren’t for public. Good on my husband for buying his grocers and leaving, I would have absolutely changed the diaper on the counter with how rude the guy was. We all have bad days but if you cannot handle your job or it is too much for you, go elsewhere. There is no need to be rude to customers.
