They Lead with Value First:
Generally when we think of going to the mechanic we going in with the mindset that not only are they going to find something wrong, but they're going to tell me I need to fix something I have no idea if it came from an honest inspection or some type of money squeeze, that mechanics always get a bad rap for. From my experience with Hailey from GreenTec EV & Hybrid Batteries it was the opposite. My 2013 Toyota Prius turned on a car warning that says 'Cooling Performance of the Hybrid Battery is Low'
My mechanic Rich from 'Drew Street Auto Repair' recommended me to GreenTec EV since they dealt with Hybrid Batteries.
Hailey ran a diagnostic of my car then cleaned out my back seat filter, opened the hood, topped off cooling fluids that were low and then proceeded to school me on prius battery mechanics and some DIY actions I could take that can save me money before a major expense. Hailey then showed me all available options of batteries and educated me on the specs of each one and told me I could reach out to her if I needed any extra help!
I left there feeling well taken care of and enpowered with a bunch of value packed information from Hailey. All of this for $0 dollars!
I love that they are leading with value first. I will 100 percent be back and recommend them to friends and family.

These guys were terrific. I was unable to get a response from the local Kia dealership (still waiting!) but these guys were responsive and informative right from the beginning. The local manager Derek is the bomb, he brought the final solution and bill in at a very reasonable price, had me up and running quickly, and gave great car advice for the future. The central parts coordinator (Casey, I think) has that pleasant-midwesterner thing going for her. If you have a hybrid, save yourself a lot of heartache and definitely choose these guys over the dealerships.

Great Business. Derek and Hailey are super nice and friendly. I booked an appointment with Derek to have my 2nd Generation Prius hybrid battery replaced. Upon arriving Hailey ran a whole diagnostic check before installing a new battery. Upon diagnostics and a super friendly and informative discussion, we decided that there life is left in the battery. I am super thankful for the interaction and 100% recommend you give them your business. Thank you again.

Highly recommend. The staff is wonderful and they did a great job replacing my battery and the value for the money is wonderful. After my battery was replaced, I needed another part and they were able to get that part replaced also and I still picked up my car as promised. If you need a hybrid battery, use this place. Just a great experience all around.

Everyone was amazing, I had a weird situation with my battery but with help from Marshall over the phone he helped me get everything straightened up and was very understanding and personable. Hailey helped set up my appointment to have my battery exchanged and she was very kind. Derek, the technician who serviced my vehicle was thoughtful and very knowledgeable. He arrived, informed me of everything he was going to do and informed me it should take him a little under two hours. He's so amazing that he blew through it within 30 mins, looked over the rest of the car for concerns, informed me of any issues, and let me a cleanly written carbon copy receipt, he was a great help. Everyone was amazing and I'll keep that in mind if I or anyone I know needs help with their Hybrids, thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Derek for my Toyota Prius Hybrid battery installation, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire process. He ensured that the installation was done safely and correctly. Additionally, he arrived on time and took the time to explain some steps to be taken for my 12v battery. I highly recommend Derek for anyone in need of hybrid installation services.

OMG, what a great place to get a hybrid or EV battery. When I first called, Heidi answered, a real person, no automation with a changed menu. We discussed my 2015 Honda Civic Hybrid and they had the battery, even on sale. Neither Tampa Honda, nor any local Honda dealer, could not even get one, and if they could it was over $4000. This was $1750 on sale with a reasonable installation charge, even mobile service. The tech, Derek, spoke with me on a Friday and advised me not to drive to their place cuz I had a red battery light on the dash when I started the car, meaning it was draining my 12 volt battery. Tampa Honda NEVER told me that, in fact, said I'd be ok driving and it would not really affect the functioning of the car, just not as smooth and less gas mileage. I didn't even like driving it anymore. Derek came by Monday morning and did some diagnostic testing, installed the battery, and everything is fine now, all the lights are off and no bad codes. Hopefully, I won't need another battery down the road, but if I do, I hope Greentec is still around.

I had my car towed to GREENTEC Auto cuz I thought it was the battery. After running diagnostics, they advised me it wasn’t. They have been so helpful in recommending a place that could take care of what my actual issue was and providing me with information on hybrids. Definitely a top rate company!
