Customer service used to be great now it is terrible & their top of the line batteries are lasting about a year & their replacement policies are not followed they find a way to get out of it. They have hours posted on door that they don’t follow & they don’t get back to you, it’s why more & more shops are not carrying their batteries anymore

Had a good experience with this store before, but not this time
I bought a battery from this store and once I installed it the car immediately started to act funny I would lose power when I slow down or if there's a speed bump even and that's completely unsafe so I went back to the store after an hour of buying the battery, and they told me sorry we are bot a mechanic shop go to a mechanic shop battery works perfect, it's your car!
I went to a mechanic shop and they told me definitely it's the problem is feom the battery!
Don't appreciate trying to put the load on someone's else shoulders, would respect taking responsibility of your faults!

Cannot express how well the customer service is at this location. Nikki, Mark and Russ along with the rest of the staff are very friendly and provide excellent knowledge on their products!

Had to come here because my RV batteries were all dead but under warranty. They assessed the reason why they were dead and it was because I didn't maintain the batteries properly. I was given a lesson on why this happened and how to keep it from happening again. Quick service. Excellent communication. Very professional. They care about their customers. Thank you Mack for the education.

Excellent service, always have even the less common battery sizes in stock, BY FAR the best quality, quality control, and even the best warranty out there on top, just in case. Short story: abused/disused the last battery I got from them, entirely my fault, it had been so long since purchase that I figured best I just pull it and took it in with me for core fee when I went to get a new one, and they just handed me a fresh off the shelf new one FOR FREE! Turns out that excellent warranty had ~3 months left on it, so I figured a prorated discount for the 3 months early death, but NOPE: Russ was like Interstate Battery Warranty Policy, it’s not fully expired so this replacement’s free!!!Made My Day - another forever project car owner…

Bought a Interstate Gold Battery 3 months ago, the battery went bad (a bad cell) of course in a tough situation. They did replace it at no charge but you would expect their quality control to be much better with a so called premium battery. THEN I get to the store and they will not replace the battery for me, you have to do it yourself, they say because of insurance! How can you be a Interstate Battery Store and not install Batteries! So I didn't have the proper tools so I had to use a pair of pliers and it took me 45 minutes to replace my own battery because I didn't carry sockets with me, they couldn't even let me borrow their Tools! So what use to be a premium battery isn't so much a premium battery and now it's make sure you have your tools and do it yourself. The guys there are very nice and did the testing on my battery but REALLY! I'm done with Interstate!

Men at counter took the time to test battery and find the exact battery that would be an exact fit to a specialized piece of equipment when manufacturer suggested a battery that did not fit securely. I do not blame the dealer for what they suggested, because everything pointed to the poorly fitting battery. Our business is very grateful to our local interstate battery dealer for taking the time to find the perfect fit. Thanks again!

Awesome service! Had an issue with West Marine batteries (never buy those) and the guys, and gal, at Interestate took great care of me. The batteries o needed just happen to be made the same week and in Tampa FL.So they are nice and fresh.FYI… West Marine batteries are made in India. By the time I got them with shipping and time… they were already 5 months old. Add to this, to save on shipping weight, they old fill them around 1/4 with water. So that were basically going bad when I bought them. Tried to return them and the guy told me they were four days out of warranty.It was only $1000 gone.Interstate has a longer warranty and much fresher and AMERICAN MADE batteries.Buy “Made in the USA”!??
