Michael Wille: Master of Kinstretch. Physical Culture is located behind BT Sports Academy. Humble location. Extraordinary training. Kinstretch is a revelation and revolution for my body. If only I had known.

I absolutely love these classes and have learned a tremendous amount from Mike and Ryan, especially on the weight training and kettlebells! They are excellent with tailoring to individual needs. Although teaching is a hobby for me, not my career, I am a 1000 hour certified Vinyassa and Hatha yoga teacher and teacher trainer,, ACSM certified in the early 90s, teach cardio dance, am a high level USTA tennis player, and dance isalsa, west coast swing and other dances along with many years of ballet, modern and jazz. Ryan and Eric’s classes are a fantastic workout and have really helped my tennis as well as provided ideas for my own teaching . They are really excellent and cannot be compared with coaches from larger commercial gyms. They take knowledge of fitness to the highest degree! Highly recommend!!!

I was a Crossfitter at a solid box for four years until life and an injury got in the way. I spent a year doing physical therapy and refining my technique and now coach posture and movement with an online company. We just moved to the area and were planning on finding another Crossfit box... but found this instead. So glad we did. I still love Crossfit, but it can really beat you up and there's often the risk of overtraining. The coaches at Physical Culture push you enough to challenge you, but not so much that your body can't move the next day. This allows you to enjoy the work you're doing and be ready to come back the next day for more. Class sizes are still small, so the coaches are able to really pay attention to what you're doing and give pointers on how to improve form. A couple of the reviewers I saw complained about the price, which as of this post is @ $150 monthly. Well, if you're looking for a place with mirrors and lights so you can stare at yourself while you do biceps curls or bore yourself to death on a treadmill, then maybe that $30 a month gym down the road is for you. You get what you pay for. If you're still committed to "embracing the suck" of a Crossfit metcon and occasionally being so sore that it hurts to just to sit on the toilet (here's looking at you, Fran), have at it. But if you're interested in something in between... something that makes you sweat and helps you build muscle while still allowing you to USE those muscles in the same day, this is where you want to be.*Side note: they also offer Kinstretch, youth athletic development, and twice a week Muay-Thai classes.

Apparently, a couple of years ago this gym ran some kind of challenge that wasn't a hit for some people since the only three negative reviews are about that. If those reviews have turned you off, reconsider. We started coming here a few weeks ago and they're not doing challenges... just offering solid training. A really diverse offering with lots of group training and classes. The trainers are extremely diverse and ready going. You will be uplifted, motivated, and improved when you leave. They obviously love what they do and are invested in every aspect of fitness and wellness.

I’m a professional beach volleyball player, been training here for 6 months and it’s changed my game big time. Coach Ryan is one of the smartest people in this field that I’ve met, the programming is thoughtful and has the right amount of flexibility for how unpredictable life and training can be.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Michael, Ryan, and Sylvia, over the weekend and they are all very kind people that work hard to cultivate their fitness knowledge in order to help others get healthy and fit. Such a pleasure to spend time in their facility. This is a place that provides services that will actually get you the result you want and more. Their training programs are on the cutting edge of strength and conditioning methodologies. This is the place to go!

The Jiu Jitsu program here is great! Professor Cadiena is from Brazil and is an active competitor, he cares about his students and the staff is very humble and helpful. I highly recommend this gym Five Stars!!
