I did a move with them, and some of my stuff is missing and I didn’t notice it until waaaayy later and I can’t file anything. For the mover who took it, you can’t sell that diamond ring because it has cracks all over it, so just give it to your wife or something.

I am so glad I picked Elite Power movers! I lost my home in the hurricane and they were so kind and compassionate. They handled everything with care and really made me feel at ease after all that has happened.it was such a relief to see our items so carefully and perfectly placed in the storage unit.

UPDATE : Chyna and I have come to an agreement to compensate me for part of my damages. All is good.
Avoid by all means. They ripped our couch and gouged our dining table and bedroom furniture due to broken glass in the truck. I purchased full value insurance for $300 and they are making it next to impossible to get claim rectified. Not returning Insurance adjusters calls. They also kept a box of ours for almost 2 weeks. After numerous calls Daniel tells me he will cancel his vacation and deliver our box of pictures ? How did he know the box was family photos and other personal effects without opening it and going through it ?

We moved 2 houses into 1 on 2 separate days. The first day we had Tobias and another gentleman, both very kind and professional. They did an amazing job on the first house, taking great care on the TV's and nearly wrapped all the furniture. This move was s 1st to 2nd floor move. No scratches on the walls or furniture. Both guys were also very friendly and easy to talk to.
The 2nd move was done the day after and this time the crew consisted of Tobias, Shyron and Brian. Once again, these guys outdid themselves with all the care and handling of our stuff.
Id definitely recommend Power Moves to anyone interested in moving. Chyna at the office was great in communicating and rescheduling our move since 1 house was scheduled for the day Hurricane Helene cruised past us and caused so much damage.
Great company.

Purvis and Leon moved my fiancé and I in quickly and with no hassle. Would highly recommend! Chyna gave me an estimate and it was very accurate no surprises!

UPDATE: Chyna reached out to me and apologized for the experience. She said they are under new management now and are doing their best to make their customers happy. Issued me a 100$ credit for the damages.
Very bad experience.
They were supposed to start between 8-9am. I’ve got a call at 8.30am saying they will not come on time and I should expect them between 1-3pm.
When they came, they were in a rush, did not pack the furniture properly. No blankets over wooden furniture, just several layers of plastic wrap which was way too thin to protect the furniture. The white book shelf was not packed at all which left it with black scratches on all sides. Coffee table was broken.
In addition, movers forgot to unload my mirrors. I noticed it only after they left. Emailed/called the office, never heard back from them.

UPDATE:
Chyna was able to provide a $180 credit towards the damaged 75”Tv which I appreciate. I changed from 1 star to 4 star. I removed both lines of reference that I would not recommend this company. I always try to work with small businesses if they offer a fair price. Thank you again Chyna for your help in resolving this issue.
Quoted for a 2.5 hour move, was 4.5 hrs. No verbal quote on the $99 gas fee although listed on the quote which I signed and didn’t realize it was there until I received the total due. I wasn’t as attention to detail as I took Ciara for her word. I did not get full coverage insurance as I have moved many times without incident. My 75” tv is damaged and I paid $24 extra to rent a box to transport. Spoke to another lady just now which said being it was boxed there is no way to determine who caused the break. It has been sitting in place where the movers placed it.
The 2 movers were pleasant and professional with their interactions. The lady said it was such a small move she would ask but doubted they would be able to do anything on their own. I just read through some reviews and see where one is advising they were not told of the $90 charge verbally and another where someone purchased full coverage insurance and were having a hard time collecting on a claim due to Elite.

Richard and John Louie were so great! Very polite, thorough, careful, and hard working. They took care of everything and made my moving experience stress free. Power moves offered me the best price and worked around my schedule. I called so many places and I’m so happy I chose power moves. I 100% will be using them again and recommend them to anyone who need movers/packing!

Movers arrived later than appointment, which led to more traffic and a hotter day.
Truck needed gas when the arrived at pickup location.
Truck was big enough for all my stuff.
Guys were nice enough, but it would be nice if they did not make personal phone calls on my 200$/ hr moving time.
There was some damage to my wood furniture from sliding it on the ground or truck instead of carrying it.
Quote was very close to actual price.
I think there was a "white glove service" advertised, but no gloves were used, and in some cases no shirt or pants.

Used Power Moves for a move-out into storage in April, and again from storage into our new home on July 1st. Unfortunately, I would not use them again, nor can I recommend them. They were 6 hours late on arrival (scheduled for 9-10 a.m. Arrived at 3:38 p.m), for a 5 hour move. Did not finish until after 9:30 p.m. Communication was poor; never did receive an adequate explanation for the late arrival. Hit a corner of wall causing minor damage, which I repaired. Against better judgement, I hired them again to move out of storage. At least this crew showed up on time. However, between the two crews, nearly every piece of furniture suffered some damage. From dents, dings, scratches, tape residue on furniture, and even a broken door on our TV credenza. New tool cabinet scratched and dented. I stopped them several times for not using padding while moving furniture unprotected on their hand cart. Do not use this company unless you absolutely can't afford anyone better, and don't care about how your furniture is handled.

Before I give my review I want people that set up movers to please give the movers all accurate information because they do plan all their moves accordingly. With that being said I want to say that I would absolutely rehire their services. The 1st date we had, they had to call me and ask if we could reschedule because the customer before me neglected to tell them that it was a 3 story. But I had no issues with that. The next day I had personal access to the owner Daniel and he kept me on the loop throughout the day. The guys came and got out furnished within an hour. They drove it to my new place and set everything up. I would recommend them.

Worst experience EVER. Do not recommend. Will not use again. Nothing was done as I scheduled. They don’t assemble and disassemble, they won’t mount or unmount. No one is trained. And Daniel won’t acknowledge or responds to messages when you relay how disappointed and slow your service is going. He still tried to charge me for more help than I received until I denied paying for services I did not receive.
