Never had a problem with this store until tonight. I have exactly 8 $1 bills in my wallet which I count multiple times to ensure I have enough for the 4 drinks I buy at a time almost every night (lately I've been only buying 2 a night and it comes to $3:56, so subsequently I forgot how much change it would be for the 4) so I brought exactly $8 knowing I'd give cashier that and get only change back. This was in fact my THIRD visit to the store today for different items; earlier in the day I'd had a quick chat with the blonde lady cashier and the usual guy at night is very friendly and professional always. So tonight it was a guy I recognize but am not too familiar with, perhaps he works in the daytime when I'm at work. When I get to the register after putting the drinks down on the counter I pulled out my 8 $1bills and count them one last time. He rang me up and the total was $7:13, I quickly think to myself 'I have $0.13 in change so I reopen my wallet and see 3 dimes and 2 pennies, so I grab 2 dimes and hand them over with the EIGHT one dollar bills, not thinking to pull out ONE dollar and put back in my wallet as I'd planned originally to pay with $8. So when he hands back the $0.07 I'm still waiting expectantly for more change, my extra dollar. I tell him I gave him $8 and he says 'no I counted it'. I say but I came in here with $8 and he says SNEERINGLY 'why would you give me $8?' I stutter to explain and admit, 'because I made a mistake, I wasn't thinking'. He refuses to listen or even hear me and INSISTS he counted the money. Two shocking conclusions I thus made: 1. He's challenging me and refusing to listen to the complaint of an honest and LOYAL customer who only wanted my own dollar back and 2. He's extremely dishonest. I know what I had when I walked into the store (when you only have the exact or slightly over the exact amount to purchase your items, you count your money carefully and you KNOW how much you have) so when he swears he counted the money HE IS LYING TO MY FACE!! If he had he would have noticed the extra dollar immediately and handed it back. The only other explanation being that he knew it was more than the amount required AND KEPT THE EXTRA DOLLAR ANYWAY. So either way very dishonest, I am still reeling because of this man and his lack of integrity. I know it's only a dollar, but the principal of the matter is what greatly concerns me. I'd like an apology from this man or the store and I hate to say but I will be walking back out when I see him behind the counter as I can't trust him in any way with money. It's a real shame at a store I like and frequent quite often. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

I'm not sure what people are expecting from a small gas station. I go here almost daily and never had a problem. The people that run the store are cool and it's in a convenient location for me. There are some weird people there sometimes but it's just the neighborhood. I've seen better and worse, the customers aren't the gas stations fault.

Mmmmmm...say something unique about this gas station.....OK, it sells non- ethonal gas for about $1.00 more than the regular gas $4.40 on this day while regular gas was $3.44. Everything else is, meh.
