I was asked to leave by the guy with the long white hair cuz he thought that I brought the rats which that was not me because I saw them there at the first day I was there so there it is... He was rude the first day I was there!!

Please be careful when agreeimg to condition of truck and gas level befor leaving premises. I made a bad assumption and it cost me. Also know that Manager says the bigger trucks could get 4 miles per gallon- (12.9 gallons to go 52 miles) when all said and done not a good customer service experience.

I chose this location because of the friendly "mom and pop" feel, knowing the owners lived on site. I'm disappointed that over the last couple of years, my rates have gone up, EVERY year! I get inflation but when I drive by and see the same size unit advertised for much lower, it's disappointing! What businesses don't understand these days is that you should reward faithful, on time paying customers, not run them out with higher rates just to move lower rate, questionable customers in later!! Trustworthy and dependable will keep you in business longer than the unknowing!! And please stop with the letters each year that start with "We really tried to keep your rate low BUT 'select units' are going up"....it's a slap in the face! ALL units go up for the people that, actually, pay on time, in my experience with you. You wanna gouge, just say it.

We use Tropicana to store our vehicle. The price is reasonable. Location is perfect - we fly into PIE and it's a short Lyft/Uber to Tropicana, and we're on our way!Staff is very friendly and helpful. The "normal" hours of operation are 6am - 10pm to access the gate, but if you need to come & go in the wee hours, a quick call to the staff in advance, and they'll add you to the 24 hr access list for the necessary dates.It's an outdoor parking spot, so we got a really good quality car cover. Worth it!

I have rarely experienced such poor customer service from people as rude and unhelpful as the employees we encountered during our recent U Haul pick up. We did a mobile pick up and all went well until it came time to get the keys from the lock box. The lock box would not open. We called U Haul and they contacted the on-site managers for assistance. They told U Haul they would come out to help. We waited from 7:10-7:45 for someone to come and they didn’t. They finally opened the mini storage office at 7:45 and we asked them to help and they said they opened the office early to get the day started but that office hours didn’t start until 8 and U Haul hours didn’t start until 9. We begged them to help so we could started with our move and they said they couldn’t do anything until they got their computers turned on and things ready to start the day. REALLY!!! How long would it have taken to just open the lock box for us. We were on the phone with UHaul trying to find a truck from another location and at 8am on the dot they came out with the key. The truck had a service light on. We went in and asked them if the vehicle was safe to drive and their answer was “according to UHaul it is, can’t help you” And to top it all off we got to the location to start our move and the packing quilts we paid for were not in the truck. Just can’t adequately express what a TERRIBLE experience it was to deal with the employees of this location. Would never consider getting a storage unit here!!!

Ten (**********) stars for this location; organized, clean, professional, personal and customer focused. Traveled/relocated-moved numerous times in my profession. Tropicana Belcher Inc is the BEST storage facility that I have ever seen that also services UHaul. Simply amazing!!! Should be the model for all other locations.

I have been using their storage for a year. Monday we have to pay $574 to get our stuff out, throughout the year we have been homeless. We finally , thank God found someone to let my family of 4 ( supposed to be 5 but our daughter is in NY Still due to our situation ) rent a room.We have to move our storage unit from Largo to North Port smh - anyways the people who work here are just amazing people. Understanding and friendly. I wish every place was like them. The units are CLEAN!!! No roaches or anything and that’s always my main concern.Even though I have to use my kids school money- I can’t give them a bad review for something in my life that was out of my control. I understand it’s a business and they can’t allow me to run up my billBc I’m struggling - it’s not their problem.AnywaysTHANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO KIND AND UNDERSTANDING! You guys are the best around! ( I have 2 more units other places so I can say that out of experience )See y’all Monday!

A little pricey as far as storage facilities go, however they run a tight ship and you get what you pay for. Property is always clean, they work with ya best they can in the office if needed and within reason, and they have people on sight, visible, and willing to help out if needed, but they aren't in your business which is cool to me as it makes me feel my stuff is safe and being looked after but not watched. I've been with them for almost 6 months.

I rented a 15 foot U-Haul truck this past weekend. I drove the thing basically empty for 10 miles. And for about 1/10 of a mile it carrying a few appliances. They told me that you need to fill it up to halfway - the gas tank. And to get back to halfway you will be charged $5.50 a gallon if u go below. The gauge started out a little bit above halfway. The truck gets 10 miles a gallon. Probably even more empty. Since I only drove 10 miles I assumed I would get charged $5.50 basically for 1 gallon of gas. Instead they charged me 3 gallons. And the red headed woman at the front desk says that the manager recorded that the gas gauge was 1/8 below half. Which is a lie. 1/8 of a tank is 3 gallons. There's no way I used up 3 gallons of gas because again I only went 10 miles and I wasn't sitting in traffic the whole time idling. And again, the gas gauge started out clearly above the halfway line. (I should have taken a picture of the gas gauge when It was dropped off.) Anyway I went in to complain. And they refused to give me a $12 refund. They charged me $18 for two extra gallons of gas that I did not use. And claimed that the manager accurately recorded the gas gauge when I returned. Which he clearly did not. Rather than do the right thing, and do right by a customer, and win a customer over by showing that you actually care about them, they would rather screw me over for $12. So do yourself a favor and avoid this place. If you can. Either for U-Haul stuff or for storage. Because they also run a storage unit operation. And if they're this dishonest about $12 re: U-Haul, I can't imagine how dishonest they are regarding the storage unit business.

The place is always clean and the owners are extremely nice! Never had any problems and have bn using them a while now. Storage isnt easy to find down here so we feel lucky to hv found them whn we did
