This is the second time in 3 months that this post office screwed up on my delivery. They couldn't find it last time and this time I have signature on file and they still did not deliver it. The worst post office ever

If I could give this location ZERO stars, I would:
I arrived at this post office at 420PM with a slip which was left at my home yesterday to pick up a package at this location. I never ordered a package, but was curious if someone had sent me a gift. I checked the tracking number online and the package had been in transit for 32 days.
At 435 I finally get to the front of the line. The gentleman takes my slip and goes to look for about 5 minutes, comes back and tells me he can’t find the package. He calls for his supervisor. I see the supervisor, Chad, chatting with a coworker. It takes Chad ten minutes to even come out from behind the wall. Chad takes my slip and disappears for another 15 minutes, and the teller makes a joke that he will go “check to make sure he didn’t forget” about me. More time passes at this point I don’t know for how long, possibly 10 more minutes. He comes out, and asks me if I have the tracking number. I tell him the number is on the slip in his hand. He argues that it isn’t, and I said it was, that’s how I tracked the package online the day before. He goes to check for another 5 minutes, comes back, and tells me the carrier dropped it to the wrong house in the first place, so there was no package for me, with a blank face. No apology. No sorry for the inconvenience. Just slack jawed. So after standing for over an hour in the post office, I left with nothing because of the incompetence of these three people, including the original mail carrier. I have got to say, I don’t know if this is in regards to the recent government budget cuts, but this place needs an overhaul desperately. Please hire ANYONE with a modicum of intelligence.

I’ve never had any issues when visiting this post office location. Staff is friendly and helpful and I’ve only gone once when there was a long line and the lady told me when it’s usually less crowded so I started going at that time and it’s in and out. I go almost weekly and it’s always great.

FollowUp: Has my stolen package been recovered yet?
Be weary of this location. My package was misshipped here and nobody can find it. It seems this location can “never find” packages. Stolen perhaps? Don’t try calling. Their system hangs up on you after 30 seconds. Do yourself a favor and drive to a different branch.

Very amazing in person but to reach someone on the phone is worse than dental work

Not helpful, literally sat there for an hour for a supervisor to come over, the employee kept ringing the bell like it was going to make them magically show up. Finally after yelling across for one, they got their happy butt off the chair to help. Its sad how lazy they are. Do your job and help and go the extra mile. Had to simply walk 30 feet to go grab them rather than pressing a buzzer 10 times for an hour. Sad how lazy they are.

Unreal but just spent 45 minutes in line. One person at counter around 11AM. Not sure what happened as there are usually 3-4 people at counter. I give a lot of credit to the staff person who is at the counter and thank them for their service and patience. Management should have put another person out there.....UGH!

For what these folks have to work with and all the people who keep coming to this area as well as covering for another branch that was destroyed by the hurricanes, they are doing a real fine job!
I've waited in line at this location and I've witnessed the customers who talk to these workers like absolute trash. Then the 1-star reviewers can't figure out why the workers are rude.
Have you ever gone to this location after hours? People just trash the place by leaving garbage on the tables for the workers to clean up in the morning. Of course, I don't recommend going there after hours. Some dude sleeps in the third wing of the PO box area. He seems harmless to me, but waking up a street person could turn out bad. The management knows about it, but there is nothing they can do since the doors are unlocked for PO box customers. They suggest you call the LPD if you see him and just dont feel safe.
The folks here are doing the best job they can. If you talk to them like human beings, they will return the favor the best they can. If you can't see that, then open your own post office and run it the way you would like it to run.

This branch's drivers never make more than the minimum effort to deliver anything besides junk mail. The guy with the mohawk working the counter at the office is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered.
