Other than the BOGOs, this store is horrible. A black female employee (no name tag) asked my friend if she was picking a fight her (scrapping in the parking lot??) because my friend said that on the second day of sale how can manager be so poor to be out of sale items and if it's a Fri-Sun special there's no substitute or raincheck. Totally legit question. So to avoid any issue, she offered my friend a rain check but then another elderly lady came over who overheard this and the black employee said "no you can't have it." Then there's the white female employee named Shelly, who is completely inappropriate and classless. The stuff that comes out of her mouth and the rudeness to customers when she is in customer service or doing anything in store is beyond unbelievable. Unless you videotaped her, nobody would believe how crass she is.

The workers @ this store don't even acknowledge you when you arrive, while you're shopping & when they cash you out. They are all unhappy. The one lady at customer service (with the black short hair) is always complaining that customers are interrupting her. You're in customer service & working with the public "it's you're job"!! The racial remarks and racial profiling that comes out of these individuals mouths are unbelievable. I'm a Hispanic but I have red hair & blue eyes but that doesn't make me any less of a minority. I feel badly for the "people of color" that work here as they were only hired to "fill a quota" as it's obvious by how this stores employees call customers the "n" word when customers are not Caucasian. Avoid the store at all cost call shop at Publix. They acknowledged you right when you walk in they're always friendly they'll help you when you ask for people from help from the store they rolled her eyes and they won't even help you don't shop here spend your money elsewhere.

Because of the wonderful saving discounts and BOGO's offered, I went to this store location, yesterday. It started out fine, but soon, I fully realized that several of the items advertised, were not in stock, or worse yet, not even carried! To me, it seemed to be a bait and switch. Your employees were most friendly and when I brought up my challenge to them, their collective response was shrugging shoulders and rolling of the eyes. I truly was hoping that I could complete my shopping for the week, but now it's back to Publix.

Jenn the customer service manager is apparently on drugs. She's sniffing constantly like she snorted a line of coke prior to services. and doesn't know how to be nice to customers. I needed a refund, because the register at self checkout didn't give me a cash back option. She was really rude to me when I asked for my refund. What type of place hires a person this way?

The one thing I can say positive about this store is that they recently remodeled and freshened up the place. So basically it's not quite as dumpy as it used to be a year or so ago at this time. They also added a W-D liquor store during the remodel; it's at the very front of the store. One goes through the main entrance to access it. Aside from that is the fact that W-D runs some fairly decent sales and many BOGO's each week. The one problem with this is the fact that they don't seem to carry half the stuff they advertise in the circular. Someone in their marketing department needs to check with the store management to make sure they carry half the stuff they say is on sale. For instance, Peroni beer was BOGO this week. There was none there and I never recall seeing it in stock at any other time. Same was true for RC Cola twelve pack cans. This place doesn't carry it nor have they ever done so; only 2-liter bottles which were not on sale. I'm honestly glad they don't call themselves the "Beef People" very often, because one thing I can say about the meat department here is how lackluster it is. Not a huge variety of good cuts, and often low stock. Publix runs a much better meat department. Same is true of their deli and bakery departments. Bakery here is practically nonexistent and is, to be generous, nominally a bakery department. No bread, cakes pastries or pies on display that aren't prepackaged and/or shipped in from elsewhere most certainly. Deli stocks Dietz and Watson meats as well as their own store brand stuff. The former likens itself to Boar's Head as far as the quality goes, but it really isn't as good. It's not bad either, but it AIN'T that good. Their variety of cold cuts is lacking too: no mortadella, prosciutto, liverwurst, head cheese or Taylor ham to be found. Employees here aren't a super friendly lot, either. I've never observed too many of them go out of their way to help customers regularly with the exception of one or two. One of their older cashiers (Helen?) is out and out rude. Produce is very lackluster too. Only the most basic fruits and veggies are in the shelves, and even then this store's produce department is VERY small. Much of it is prepackaged bags and trays of veggies too. Not very engaging or high quality at all, just line the rest of this store, as well as the chain as a whole! This store is a couple miles further down East Bay than the two Publix stores near me. The only reason I shop here is mainly for sale items. Their rewards program is definitely better than the skinflints at Publix will EVER dream up. They're not quite as rundown as the nearby Sav-A-Lot was (they closed the latter a year and change ago).

The staff is fine. However for the first time ever in all my year's customers were experiencing 2girls looming over on sale T-bone steaks. Ab elderly gentleman and myself were told by " the mouthpiece", of the 2 we couldn't have access to look at the meat until the one who looked like she could've swallowed the whole cow, refused anyone access but them. ( she claimed the young girl was shopping for them. She lied. She was filling both carts !! ). The younger girl looked so embarrassed by her subordinates actions, I genuinely felt sorry for her. I told her I'd go get a manager, but she spewed " go ahead, we're not moving !!. I went to the service desk and by the time they got there , the pair moved as they watched me go up to the service desk. I watched them pay in EBT . I'm sorry but I won't go back . Limit how many packages per person. Orcutt a security officer in there. The class of clientele is far going down the toilet. This is no reflection on employees, cleanliness, but when you don't feel safe in a " THUG" environment, don't go back. Besides Target and Publix are across the street.

If you're rating this Winn Dixie lower than 3 stars, I can't imagine what you expect out of a grocery store. This is one of the nicest, cleanest versions of Winn Dixie that I've ever seen with an incredibly efficient self-checkout. Also, this is the only one that I've seen with a fully designated, "dollar store," aisle that really helps me get the maximum bang for my buck each time. With the exception of Walmart, the prices here OBLITERATE Publix, who seems to have fully embraced inflation, so I don't know why you would ever shop anywhere else if you lived close to this particular store..

This store is not up to par. My reasons are, I used to buy lotto tickets there. One day I won $500, they couldn't or wouldn't pay me. I spoke to the manager, he said, "We just don't have the money to pay you. It was afternoon, I'm sure they had the money, or, should keep cash on the side for such payouts. He was very abrupt and seemed like I was bothering him. Yesterday I went there to buy cornish game hens, they were out. So without looking at the price I grabbed a capon from the freezer and headed to the checkout. It was $38. WHAT?? I came home and looked on line at the prices and yes, they are expensive. But $38 for a 6 pound chicken? I will not go back. What surprised me was they just remodeled the place when they should have demolished it.

We went to this Winn-Dixie since it was on our way to some Petersburg. I got a few chips in here and the store was impeccable and very organized. The people here were extremely nice asking me if I needed anything. I use the restroom and it was clean. Covid restrictions were taking place in this Winn-Dixie location and the parking lot it's ample.

I was never impressed by this store or management. Shelves are always empty, esp. frozen. They never know what they will get delivered as they are more or less a dump store for the larger WD's. The deli manager was thawing a turkey breast on the counter in water, a total violation of health codes. I previously saw him outside smoking. No way he could have gotten behind that counter and washed his hands in that amount of time. Along with his attitude, we do not buy any deli. I bought some beef filets and the sides you couldn't were big chunks of fat. I was going to complain to the butcher manager, but he's got a bad attitude as well. I often find similar items placed in the spot of sale items so people buy them and don't get the sale. You can't exchange or return. To top it off, the assistant manager removed his mask, which was not covering his nose as he stocked, and sneezed all over the Gatorade. This store is a mess. Convenience is the only reason people go there.

Let's start with the shelves .....the items are never pulled forward at the end of the night. Shouldn't this be someone's job? The cashier behind the customer service desk, I think his name is Tyler or Tom? Anyway....what a grump, no hi's, thank you's ....nothing. Very rude behind that counter, like we are bothering him to help us.

I cannot figure this store out. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to how it's organized. Definitely not the "normal" set up. I often can't find what I'm looking for and have to ask. They could learn a lot from the one on 66th street.
