Let me start off with some of the good things I did experience while I was a patient at this facility. Nurse by the name Gracie was absolutely great including Her customer Service. I was also serviced by a female EMT I did not catch her name but she was also very patient understanding and customer service was great. While all those things was pleasant about my experience at this appointment unfortunately I was encountered with a very rude, Inpatient and lack of customer service front desk clerk. Me my sister and also another witness which was another patient at the time of my visit had a very bad encounter with her. Me and the other patient had a brief conversation because he also seen I was uncomfortable and he agreed that the front desk clerk was absolutely horrible and should never work in a medical field especially being The first face you see when walking in to a company. I have been a patient with this organization for years and even visited three other locations and I have never felt this way. Not to put anybody on the spot I was also told by a colleague that worked there that that same desk clerk get a lots of complaints similar to what I complained about.After my visit the nurse sent my medication's to their pharmacy which one was an antibiotic and the other was a narcotic. One was filled and the other was denied. As a pharmacy tech of seven years (still practicing)and mother who is also a pharmacist of 35 years I am very aware of what goes on in the pharmacy to the law's medication etc. The pharmacist by the name COWAN G denied my medication without even checking the system to see if it was in stock she automatically looked at the prescription looked at me and said we are out of stock of this medication. I know that was not the truth again because I am a pharmacy tech and well aware of what medication has a shortage of. I went down the street to fill my medication at CVS and I also double checked with them and they did confirm that there was not a shortage on that medication and I even contacted my mother which she also confirmed. I was discriminated against because of my skin color which happens a lot in the pharmacy field where they do not like filling Controls or narcotics to certain races. after confronting her about it and letting her know that I am a pharmacy tech of seven years and also letting her know that my mother is a pharmacist of 35 years she tries to say to me did I come back here to pick a fight. Not once did I yell curse or even use a bad tone. she was not aware of my medical background nor my acknowledgment. when she seen I knew what I was talking about she tried to switch up the story and say well their company had a shortage. That's not possible nor is it true. I will also be reporting her to the board of pharmacy. I cried when I went back to my car because I see it happen repeatedly while employed at CVS but I never thought it would happen to me. I tried to call the store before coming back in roughly about 7 times speak to speak to her and she kept telling the tech to say she was busy. when I came back to the store she literally wasn't doing anything but sitting down.I will never come back to any of the locations again. This is suppose to be a place people feel safe coming to when they're ill or in need of urgent care. I will never recommend this place nor visit again.

I went to Dr. G and had a very pleasant and smooth visit. I received a surgical clearance from them. The facility is very complete and very clean. Wait times are short and all staff is very knowledgeable.

This was my go-to Urgent Care but it fell apart over the past year. The worst experience I had was just now: my child accidentally dropped prescribed antibiotics and I called to see about another prescription only to be told I need to pay for a consult if I want the prescription sent to my pharmacy. When I refused to and wanted to speak to someone else the lady on the phone just laughed it off and hung up. I called back but the same person keeps answering shutting me down. A few months ago their system was down so I had to pay out of pocket and file an insurance claim because even though they had me on file they would not take the time to make the phone call to my insurance for eligibility and wait until their system was back up, they need the money up front. Sure I let that one slide but now this? Totally unreasonable place. I have to either go pay another consult and of course wait through the whole thing again or choose another place where one is treated like a patient and not a commercial transaction.

Went to MD now and they said it was a 90 min wait! No no… I looked in google and found Dr. g’s. I called, they took my insurance, no wait. In & out in 40 min, very nice, I recommend!

Unethical billing, always look as your copay share from your insurance, Dr g billed me over it, claiming is their fair share because of their contract with Humana, yeah ok...

They charged me 160$ upfront for a service it turned out they couldn't provide and then wouldn't refund the money (my health insurance just said in a call that as in network contractor they have to refund). This overshadowed all the good that the staff does. It's set-up as a scam business. They should be called Dr Gs bank-account care because that's what they do first and best. Only go to them if you got absolutely no other options.

I recently took my mom to Dr. G's in Fort Lauderdale. We were welcomed with open arms and smiles. The staff was very friendly, warm and nurturing. The team was quick to assist . They ran the proper tests. Wrote scripts quickly and we were on our way. The last script needed after the final result was delivered by them to my mom personally by their team! I can't say enough night things bout Dr. G's!

I love love love coming to this pharmacy !!! Lindsey is such a joy to have as a pharmacist tech !! My prescription is always on time and Lindsey is always giving superb customer service !! I highly recommend this location you will not be disappointed!!

Dr G’s is the only pharmacy that I have been to in my lifetime that actually understands that RELIABILITY in having your monthly prescriptions available and ready for you is the most important factor that any pharmacy can demonstrate. Having the most friendly and knowledgeable staff around is just icing on the cake!

I am a new patient at Dr Gs Pharmacy in Lauderdale-by-the Sea. I recently moved from Pennsylvania to Fort Lauderdale. The staff at Dr Gs, Lindsey and Kristina, have been an amazing help and support transferring and filling all my prescriptions. Dr G is also very knowledgeable, professional and caring. All in all, they are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. They give me individual and personalized attention and counseling with regards to my prescriptions and healthcare needs. I would highly recommend!
