“A typical vacation stop for me.... Walmart! I enjoyed this location. It was clean and well stocked. Everything that we were looking for we were able to locate with no hassle. One of our reasons to stop was to stock up on liquor for the hotel room. This location had its own liquor store which I've never seen at any other Walmart. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. Wish I remembered her name. She could tell we were from out of town and suggested us to a local karaoke bar. (See separate review for this gem). She even told us if we go out first drinks were on her to welcome us to Ft Lauderdale!”
“Large Publix located in the Venetian Isles shopping center in Lighthouse Point. The entrance, like most Publix stores is bright and roomy, with the customer service desk right there to help you with any questions. The last time I was there, the place was packed with people needing help with returns and lottery tickets.... Busy place... I went to get some over the counter items and some sunscreen. They had a great selection and I was particularly looking for some that I had digital coupons for....that makes a big difference on the price you end up paying... I got my items, paid and went on my way...”
“I went to get a BOGO chip special at this Publix when I passed by an aisle with Chinese sauces. I had never thought of Publix as a place for authentic Chinese products like Hoisin and Oyster sauce. The brand names were the same I would find at an authentic Chinese grocery store (less variety and higher prices), but still it was a really convenient find. Many people, like my mother in law uses very little of some condiments, just enough to make a certain recipe, so these sizes are perfect for people like her.”
“I Moved down here from Massachusetts six months ago and out of all the grocery stores this is my place to shop! Earlier I had left a few cans of kitten food at the self scan check out and I came back six hours later and the lady remembered and she had them for me! I was very delighted and the staff there was wonderful, friendly and thoughtful. Thank you ladies!”

“Ok I'll start with they do have a great produce manager!! Their fruits especially raspberries and strawberries and grapes are NEVER fresh!! I finally was able after complaining for months to "managers" who just brushed off the situation and didn't care I was finally blue to talk to the store manager and also the produce manager. I will update his name when I get the correct spelling of it. I let him know everyday week I go in here their fruits are so horrible moldy and rotten and how I would tell the people and they didn't do anything. He literally got into action and apologized for the rotten fruits that they need to check better for it. Unfortunately this time around I only got 1 case of strawberries and nothing else in produce this time but that's okay. Knowing and hoping that starting next week everything will be fresher makes me happy. The store is always clean and lots of room to turn your carts. Everything is organized and not scattered everywhere. I would like to see more than just the check out yourself line opened. Maybe out happier people at customer service area.”
“I wish I had a Publix to shop at in Michigan. This is my favorite grocery store when I spend time in Florida. The made to order sandwiches at the deli are some of the best I have eaten. The fruit is always fresh. I love many of the buy one get one free sale items. They also have a good selection of wines in various price ranges. I have been shopping at this Publix for years and plan to continue.”
