Plunge Beach Resort is a perfect beach resort getaway located directly on the beach. The beautiful, clean beach and private pool are never overly crowded. The resort features comfortable, modern, and spotlessly clean rooms with great air conditioning, though some balconies in the main hotel are very small while others offer full balconies. The overall building is older, but rooms have been remodeled and the check-in lobby and bar area are boutiquey cute, with hallways slated for renovation. The location is outstanding, right on the beach and close to the center of Fort Lauderdale Beach, with many restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. The on-site restaurant and beach bar by the pool are fun, offering fabulous, very fresh food and drinks, with highlights like the hummus plate and hot breakfast, plus live music. Service is consistently outstanding, hospitable, polite, and helpful, making guests feel like family and welcome. Nice perks include available bikes. Some minor negatives include no coffee in the rooms and a nightly parking fee. The warm, clear nights and amazing sunrises contribute to a wonderful, relaxed, and fun stay at this cute little beach spot.

Eugene with guest relations in the front of the hotel was amazing he was sure my boyfriend and I had an amazing time from the beginning to the end. The plunge is lucky to have him thank you again Eugene for making our trip special!! :)
