Owner needs to put some capital back into what was once the finest hotel on the Atlantic. I was in an overpriced 5th floor room with a wonderful view. I stayed most recently 12/30/2023 - 1/2/2024 and my experience determined I won't be back. NO HVAC whatsoever one night. Most systems are outdated. $40 per day for 2 beach lounge chairs and an umbrella. At over $400 per night these should be complimentary.Rooms: NO AC at all one evening! Refrigerator is old. Coffee pot is less than adequate. I thought electrical plates were code on all outlets. Cost of overnight stay is not supported by accomodations. Other than the great view from the 5th floor balcony it was not worth the expense. I believe my previous review was 5 across the board.

Nice quiet small hotel right on the beach. Oceanfront room with a nice balcony and full kitchen. With in walking distance to shops and restaurants. The HVAC system could be improved and is loud and outdated.

From arrival to departure this hotel made are stay fabulous I honestly can’t say enough of about the staff Anatoli,Ana,Loraine,Oldane & Tatiana. Take it from someone who’s in the hospitality field the owner Emil and Richard have a great relationship with there staff and it shows. If your looking to sunbath on the sand with drinks (adults only) and relax your chair will be waiting every morning . I can’t wait to see you all again in April ?Rooms: Superb!! Clean clean clean. SpaciousSafety: I couldn’t have felt safer. They even lock the gates after dark so you must enter thru front lobby. No key card no entry ❤️Walkability: Total walking distance from pier…plenty of restaurant/bars and gift shops best ice cream ?

Breathtaking view of the Ocean, right on the beach. I witnessed one of the best Sunrises I have ever seen. Everything is clean, pristine and professionally ran. I can’t say enough about the ownership and how the staff treats their guests. This place is a true gem.

My husband and I LOVED staying at this hotel! They had flexible check in/check out times and the staff were all so kind and welcoming. They have created the perfect private oasis right on the beach so you can spend time in the pool or enjoy your drinks on the beach. We will definitely stay here again in the future.Nearby activities: Within walking distance to the pier, restaurants, shops.Safety: They locked all doors but the front after 9pm so we always felt safe on the property.

This was quite possibly one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms were hot and the A/C rattled loud the entire time it was on. On the coldest setting the rooms would get to 80/85 during the day. The beds were about as comfortable as sleeping on a futon. The wall outlets were placed in poor positions relative to the bed. There were holes in the walls, missing bits of tile everywhere, and large cobwebs throughout the vents. The fridge had a pool of water in front of it (because of the A/C). And my towels and blankets had stains and holes in them.. My traveling coworker also had a similar experience in a similar single bed room. I don't know what in the world was going on with our rooms but my goodness were they atrocious. Do yourself a favor and avoid.

Sealord is one of my favorite places to stay we are returning guests x 3 now. However I do think the rooms need minor updates, our air vents in the room were black & dusty from months of buildup so a few girls on our trip woke up with allergy like symptoms I’m assuming that’s where the issue started, Also the pull out beds do not have real mattresses they are pieces of foam rubber we could feel the bars on our backs poking through which isn’t acceptable for an adult to sleep on at a “resort hotel” I believe if we book a resort hotel we should indeed get a resort standard bed. I did speak with management about the issue and he apologized, and told me if we weren’t checking out the next day he would have opened up another room for us which was a super nice gesture. I do believe the front desk should have contacted him about the issue the first night we were there, I do believe he would have made things right, and it would have really made our stay more enjoyable. Maria the housekeeper is the one who brought the extra foam pad the second night we were there she was amazing and so helpful. I love the location and aesthetic of the Sealord, but I think a few small changes would make a huge difference.

This is a nice hotel right on the beach. We asked for a different room after checking in, since the first room they gave us just was not what we wanted. It had a very small and outdated bathroom and the room itself was right in a corner on a low floor, looking out over the roof of the outside bar and partial pool view. The next room was great (panoramic suite, top floor, upgraded bathroom), however no "plush robes" as stated on the website. Also had a very outdated air conditioning system which made quite a noise, especially at night when trying to sleep. As with any hotel, the inter leading door had ZERO sound proofing and we had to tolerate a noisy neighbor that just never seemed to leave his room to give us some peace and quiet. We also noticed that the room still had beach sand on the floor every time after being serviced. The tiki bar was not operational when we were there, however there was beach service and Kelsey took good care of us. Might visit again, even if just for the oceanfront room and the fact that this is an adults only hotel.
