Horrible Customer service by the manager disgusting attitude just stands around not even greeting people in. Acting as if he indeed was the owner not just a store manager.

I stopped in for a catering order today. The order included lasagna. I visited the store a little before 9am. The lines were short and the service was quick. Plenty of parking was available and multiple staff were on the sales floor to assist with questions.

Fresco Y Más (Fresh and More) is a Hispanic grocery store that has replaced some Winn Dixie stores. Fresco y Más began in 2016, when executives from Southeastern Grocers, the ownership group of Winn-Dixie, decided to test market a Hispanic big-box grocery store in a former struggling Winn Dixie. By appealing to the large the Hispanic population in Hialeah, they were able to turn things around. The first location of Fresco Y Más opened in Hialeah in the historic Flamingo Plaza. There are now more than 20 Fresco Y Mas stores clustered around Miami, Tampa, and Orlando. I see they have finally made it to Broward with this Lauderdale store I discovered while running errands. I have previously visited the Hialeah store and this one is not quite as nice. The color scheme of the store is a bright yellow with the department names bilingual. They serve hot prepared foods in the Cocina. In the aisles expect to find black beans, olive oil, mojo marinades, rice, Cuban coffee, and plantain chips. There is a large produce department with fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and seafood department, bakery with fresh Cuban bread and fruit cakes and pies, and a Dollar Zone where customers can get more than 600 everyday essentials for $1.If you are looking for specific Latin items this is a great place to check out. I found the prices on their other items comparable to other local grocery stores. The Fresco y Mas brand has been successful for the company and they are looking to expand with more stores. There is another location in Broward County in Hollywood.

I work at a grocery store so I know how it works. I didn't have my card because my mom is at work. I asked could i type it in she told me i couldn't because i needed a physical card. I only had 6 items and already waited in the long line. Every store even Walmart can accept the type in method but is it just that she didn't want to because I know you can. That's why I don't shop in my own area. Get it together.

Literally one of the cleanest, most organized grocery store I've been too. I'm not a big health nut so this review won't spotlight organic this or organic that but more so just your average grocery store. Alot of Winn-Dixies down south are now remodeled and revamped under this brand. The place is very similar to Winn-Dixie yet nicer. The lighting and space in here is awesome. Roomy and well designed as far as products. The staff here was very nice. I had a few questions regarding the rewards program and was made aware I can use my WD rewards # and card. The sales here were pretty good and great in price ranges. They offer a food and sit down area where you can purchase cooked items made by the deli staff. The food looked yummy. I came for the sale on the seafood. The lobster was so fresh, awesome grouper, crabs, and more. The sales are ideal. I was able to get Regular sized lobster tails on sale for $5.98 per tail which was amazing. I ordered 5 lobster tails and ordered some crab legs. You have the option to have it cooked there or take it home. I cooked it on my own but next time I'll definitely let them cook it just to try it. I would definitely recommend this location it has plenty parking and space for shopping. Near is also a strip mall with pretty cool stores and a Dunkin donuts is right across the way (walking distance)

Store setup is similar to the Winn Dixie that was replaced. Plenty of parking. Bright and clean, spacious floor layout. Found prices to be on the high end. Not many customers were in the store, but it still took a while to get waited on at the cafe. Eventually, a pleasant associate provided assistance. A regular $5.99 cafe meal includes a protein and two sides. The oxtail dinner is $3 more, but the associate was very generous with the portions. The oxtail flavor was lacking, could have been more seasoned. Before doing more extensive grocery shopping, I definitely would need a rewards card for the discounts. No reward cards were available in the store.
