Will not go to any other salon! Have been going to Tanya for over a year and have never left unhappy like I have at other salons! Would recommend Tanya and Salon 44 to everyone! Every stylist is welcoming and very knowledgeable! 10/10 service every time!

I am a single mom so once a year I treat myself and my hair to something special. I have had my hair dye, highlighted, and straightened (I think it was called) and I love it everytime. I highly recommend this business

Chloe is an awesome business owner and Tanya does a great job cutting hair! She is one of the few hairstylists that can cut a shorter hairstyle without making me look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek! LOL. I also went to these ladies when I was experiencing hair thinning and I was so embarrassed and feeling helpless. Chloe and Tanya took a look at my hair the very next day and gave me all of the tips and advice I needed to jumpstart my regrowth. I’m very thankful for you both for helping me! This is my new go to salon for hair cuts!

Many amazing stylists under one roof!
I have been going to Tanya for almost 2 years now. It started with my daughter wanting semi perm color for her birthday and my old salon blew me off. When I called Salon 44 Chloe directed me to Tanya for an appointment the following day! At the end of the appointment I scheduled for myself a few weeks later and then I was hooked! While Tanya was out Chloe touched up my hair and never missed a beat! Since then I have told many people and brought new people with me as well!

I am newer to Citrus County and dreaded trying to find a new stylist. I am soooo glad I found Chloe at Salon 44. She got me right in and was the sweetest thing! I had so much fun in her chair chatting and getting to know one another. I had neglected my hair for months and she did an amazing job at blending my grey and giving me a new cut. I can't wait to get my 2 teenage daughters in as well. I not only gained an amazing new stylist, I feel like I made a new friend. 🩷

Salon 44 is a salon that everyone needs to experience. From the moment that you walk through the door, you’re met with love, laughter, and support. I get my nails and hair done there and I am satisfied with the outcome every time! I feel heard when it comes to what I want. I feel the support in making a decision at times that I am indecisive. It’s a salon that is a rare gem in Citrus County. Salon 44 is the place to go, you won’t regret it.

I’m a licensed cosmetologist and I work at a bar part time. A stylist here approached me while I was working and told me she was looking for some people in her chair and offered to do all over highlights a cut and style for $100. I told her what I wanted (full head of chunky highlights and lowlights) she told me she could do it and that she was excited.
I was at the salon for more than 6 hours. When she was developing the last sections of foils at my crown, I told her we should wait longer because I thought it wasn’t developed enough. She told me that she was afraid of damage and said we should rinse.
I trusted her and unfortunately I don’t think i’ll trust anyone with my hair like that again. I took a chance on her because I knew what it was like to need to build your clientele and it sounded like she knew what she was doing.
When she pulled my foils out, my hair was breaking. She ended up having to cut two inches more than I asked because the ends were melting off. I have never had an experience like this.
All of my hair except for the section at my crown was neutral and cool. That part was orange. She was just as upset as me about the warmth in my hair and tells me she will fix it for free.
I will say the placements of the highlights are really pretty. Definitely not what I asked for but still pretty nonetheless. All the girls at this salon are incredibly nice and seem talented so I feel horrible having to write this review but i’m truly upset.
I go on my birthday trip in less than 4 days and I hate my hair. It’s not what I asked for and it’s not me.
Instead of going through that highlight mess again at our next appointment where she was going to fix my hair, I asked if we could put an all over demi to just even it out. I’m thinking this is less labor, less product and a cheaper product than enlightener. (each tube of demi at any professional beauty supply store ranges from $6-$12)
She tells me that if I want to do that she will charge me $100 to color and style my hair.
I am baffled. Not only did I tip her VERY WELL at our last session (even AFTER the mess up in good faith) but she told me she would fix it for free! As a stylist, if you mess up on a service that was paid for, you should strive to make your client happy.
It feels like she is trying to make money off of a mistake she made which is not cool. As someone who graduated from aveda and worked in a luxury salon, I would never do this to one of my clients.
I know that doing an all over color service on my (now VERY SHORT) hair is not a $100 service ESPECIALLY because she is FIXING her mistake.
I will now have to fix this on my own.
I will never be coming to this salon again and I don’t know if I would ever recommend you to go, either.
