None of the Aspen Dental offices answer the phones. And they don't return your call when you leave an urgent message. We have to use the oral surgeon that is in the Leesburg office, and no one will contact us back. So now we have to drive an hour from Ocala, just to make an appointment, and hope there's no issue with the acceptance of our insurance. This is ridiculous ? I know people are short-handed, but I've been in the Ocala office where the manager just walks around like she has nothing to do when they have over 200 voicemails sitting to be listened to. You would think that with all the money this company makes, they would be able to hire someone to answer phones. I mean for the right price I'll do it every day.

Oh my goodness, they want to clean my teeth for almost $500 dollars! This is not my type of dentist to work with. I do have a gum issue that is being treated with homeopathic remedy

I’m giving One star because ZERO STARS is not an option. I went to this location this past Monday due to severe pain in my lower left jaw. I had an appointment but still ended up waiting for EVERYTHING. Finally after 2 hours and a couple x-rays later, the dentist informed me that there was “nothing wrong with my tooth.” He stated that maybe I had “bruised a bone” and to “take some Tylenol” and I’ll be fine. Two days later after getting no sleep, not being able to eat or even put pressure on my jaw due to the pain…I went to get a 2nd opinion where I was informed that I had an abscess underneath an old root canal. The next day I underwent an emergency tooth extraction and was told that my infection was one of the worst they’ve seen. To make a long story longer…the care and compassion I received at this facility was NON-EXISTENT. It was made extremely clear to me that they don’t care at all. I felt ZERO compassion, and at points was even treated like I was imagining or making it up. I would not recommend my worst enemy to go to this sad excuse for a dental office. CLEARLY ALL DENTISTS ARE NOT MADE THE SAME AND HERE YOU CAN FIND THE BOTTOM OF THE BARREL.I would like to say THANK YOU To Aspen Dental Leesburg for giving me the opportunity to suffer for 3 additional days because of your inexperienced “dentists”. Thank you.

They kept me informed of their findings every step of the way and even though the results of my appointment will be a extraction, which I pretty much expected anyway, they showed me on the X-rays why it was necessary.

I switched to the Aspen Dental at the Leesburg office after reading good reviews, and all seemed great at first. I was prepped for a crown in December and I paid my upfront cost -$603. When I returned for the permanent crown placement in Jan., I knew there would be problems because of the severe pain when the temporary crown was removed. It took 4 attempts to remove it. Extremely painful. A different dentist placed my permanent crown. A few weeks later, I was still experiencing pain and hot/cold sensitivity. I returned, and the new dentist told me that the previous dentist used his judgement with the placement of the crown, and the crown did not extend low enough to cover the exposed area left by the prep work, and where the crown ended is where I am experiencing pain. The dentist then placed a something around the area, but warned me it would not last because the substance does not adhere well to porcelain. It didn't , and whatever he placed around my tooth broke a few weeks later.I still have a crown with hot/cold sensitivity. I had already paid $603 dollars upfront on this procedure. On the day of my crown placement, in January, I requested a consult with an endodontist about a previous root canal - I paid for the consult fee that day, $147.00. TODAY, the day before my consult, the Aspen Office where the endodondist is located, calls me to tell me that I have over a &250 debit on my account . This is a complete surprise to me. I was completely unaware of this because I paid for everything in advance.& I have insurance. I am told that I need to pay this amount before the endodontist can see me. I have waited months for this appointment. I already paid for the consult, but according to the Leesburg office, my insurance did not pay for all the crown prep work, and I now have an outstanding balance, and they took my consult fee to pay for some the denied claim, and now want another $250 plus for me to pay for another consultation fee. Then, the Leesburg office calls me 15 minutes later to tell me I still owe them $250 . I hear ,"Well, your insurance didn't pay for all the prep cost as we expected, So, now we have to be the bad guy. " I called my Dental Plan. They tell me that I am not responsible for those denied costs. They billed my insurance for $1948.00 and I already paid $603.00 up front. Plus $147 dollars for an endodontist consultation fee - in total $750. Now they want me to pay an additional $250 dollars, plus another $147.00 consultation fee.
