There was a guy at the front desk who was just straight up rude and ignorant. His tone and aggression was just unnecessary. Talked to me like I was a child the entire time, it was degrading at some point. However The other staff members there were friendly and supportive. He was upset because I booked a room through the app called Booking, he stated he hated going through that process. In the end we just agreed to cancel the booking, I wasn't interested in staying somewhere like that.

Lloyd, front desk clerk, was very helpful. Even though he was really busy he took the time to explain internet hookup. The exercising room has nice machines. The outdoor pool is not heated. Continental breakfast was good and a varied selection. Yogurt machine was a nice addition. Hotel is old but has been repainted and newly carpeted in hallways.Nearby activities: Ramshackle restaurant in parking lot. Food is great.

We will start with the greeting at the front desk. Lloyd and Nick were both very cordial and helpful. Having said that the experience went downhill from there. The lobby area was extremely messy and dated, the room, the same with a piece of furniture in an HP accessible room that didn't make any sense at all with no recliner. No hot water Luke warm at the very best! Dingy old curtains, furniture to the point where it was almost depressing. Feels like the mattress has never been changed since it was put in originally. we both woke up with backaches. Went to the breakfast area, took one look at it and left to go to a restaurant for breakfast. Look like the turkey bacon they just been cooked and then thrown in the container and did not look fully cooked. The presentation was anything but presentable.I know these hotels are individually owned, and of course the speed of the boss is the speed of the gang. I also believe that a franchisee is responsible for maintaining certain standard set by the franchise. I would hate to think that an inspector from the franchise would pass this hotel. The fact that it wasn't failed, and improvements demanded, reflect poorly on the franchise of best Western itself. This is the third such experience we've had, and the last one. We will find a new franchise that takes pride, and reflects hospitality as it should be. Shame on best Western, obviously, a franchise that is in decline.

My wife and I are Wyndham reward members. We recently went on a trip to Florida and decided to stay at this location in Leesburg. We could not have been greeted by a better person. Lloyd was so friendly, checked us in and was a wealth of information! We had several questions for him on what to see and do in the area and he had answers for everything we had asked him. “Lloyd is a gem!”. The staff was very friendly and the entire hotel was very very clean. Probably the cleanest we have ever seen. We would highly recommend this hotel for anybody thinking about booking it. Recently stayed at this location and was pleasantly surprised to how nice this hotel was. I had not stayed in a Best Western in a while but this one changed my view of the brand. Staff I spoke to was friendly, rooms were clean with lots of space. The only real bummer was that the pool and hot tub closed after dark :( I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area, but I hope they update that rule.Rooms: Clean and spacious

Spacious rooms. Clean and orderly. Friendly hote staff. Will be staying here again soon.Rooms: 3 floors of rooms. Also food with in walking distance. Convenient stores and plenty of gas stations.

Best hotel in leesburg, FL very clean and attentive employees. Housekeeping came by everyday and offered to clean, change the sheets, replaced kcups and shampoo etc. by far one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in. Breakfast every morning with espresso machine breakfast wasn’t great but it was free. The only complaint I have is the beds were very stiff there was a pull out couch and it had a very thin matress we had planned on using it for our kids but we ended up taking turns sleeping in it because the main bed was so stiff. Other than that great place to stay and I’d definitely return in the future when coming to visit family.

worse hotel ever and I always travel everywhere, the night shift front desk lady is god awful rude , room had tapping all night random stuff would pop up in my room , spoke to the manager and he did not say nothing the water stinks just overall horrible lady was rude to my kids , and do not come on here saying sorry when you didn’t say sorry to my face .

Have stayed at this particular location on occasion for the past ten years. We like the location and its proximity to many restaurants. The facility is quite clean and well cared for. The staff is unfailingly polite and helpful. The convenience of a hot meal is important to us, and they deliver every time with plenty of items.Food & drinks: Many restaurants nearby

Lloyd was so friendly, he went above and beyond to ensure we got a room and enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this location because Lloyd. I wish every hotel had a Lloyd!

Stayed for a few days ! Our keys didn't work for a day but we managed! My daughter forgot her cell and Leon called right away ! Thank you ❤️ pool was nice would stay again ..Rooms: Beds comfortable

I can’t believe how I was addressed come check out . I was greeted with false accusations. Then when I tried to plea my case , I was then yelled at by Brittany who handled the situation in such a unprofessional way I cannot believe sonny is allowing someone of this nature to be the first and last thing people see when staying at this Best Western . When we found out she was actually incorrect she continued to be rude and didn’t even apologize and continued to treat me disrespect . Brittany is someone who should not be working the front desk if she can’t keep her composure , and should probably be rid of her position at this Best Western.
