We needed a room last minute. You can’t book online, you have to go in. $140 for two people. They were super nice. AC isn’t left on, so it takes most of the night to cool down the room.

Traveling through looking for a place to stay. This was not it. Look at the rooms before paying. Sign on the office door states no refunds after 10 minutes of checking in!

The room we were in was small but very clean. For somewhere to get a good night's sleep, it's worth the price. Service was great, you can tell they care about their guests.

Place rented us a room then told us to leave because we had a visitor, never refunded the money and the little guy who I assume is the younger brother of lady working front desk was drunk and slurring words very horrible place...

My Wife and Myself stayed here on the night of March 8th, at first we were reluctant to bit due to lack of availability during Bike Week, Black Bike Week, Spring Break, and concert season there was nothing under $230 +$100 deposit around from Lake County to Altamonte Springs and back thru Clermont and Kissimmee areas which we were not trying to take on at 11:30pm to just check back out in 12 hours. We stumbled across The Econo Inn and I must say I am absolutely happy and grateful we did! We got in to check in very late around midnight for starters and even though the Owner and his Wife and Daughter(s) were well in bed already he was pleasant and greeted me kindly and made me feel welcomed and not as a burden even after waking one of the little girls up with my gravely boomy voice. He said they had two types of rooms, a small for $85+ tax and a larger one for $125+ tax, we originally opted for the small room which came to $91 total before the $20 deposit. I stated that I was the spender and my Wife would be upset if I opted for the larger room, but normally would, on my own and we joked about this for a moment. He then said he would go ahead and total out the larger room for an extra $9 making it an even $100 no tax on top so I thanked him kindly and obliged to that agreement. I ran a card as a deposit for $20 but used cash I had on hand for the room itself. He agreed that he would also give me $20 cash back upon checkout for deposit so I would not have to wait on my card issuer to refund the merchants transaction days from now. I thanked him again gratefully and got our key to room 4. The large rooms (well ours) was super spotless, not a single roach, not a single issue or non functioning item or amenity throughout the room itself, large TV was great, very neat and cool chairs throughout the room, a bistro style table that was super cute, cubby hole 'cut in' style shower that was cool and made me feel like I was showering in a cave somewhere in nature! All in all the room was awesome, especially at midnight on the brink of busy season starting again with lodging influx. The owner was cool and called me 'brotha' which was cool and made me feel like I was conducting a transaction with a buddy of mine almost! Not your typical middle eastern family that is shrewd and money hungry as Colonial in Eustis and a few other local 'non-gems' have to offer! This family is super pleasant, very easygoing, very nice to deal with, very accommodating, not up your backside the entire stay and knocking all stay long to bother you more. He also kept his word upon checkout and issued me $20 cash back! This place is a true gem of Lake County! If you are in the market for budget, friendly, cozy lodging then hands down this is it! Look no further! Our stay was awesome and property had no riff raff or drug dealers around, No stereos slamming someone's trunk loose all night, and no Qualls of other local places! We will come back! I will recommend to others especially family! Thank you much to the Owner and his Wife! You guys are the true asset to this property and I'd be surprised if you both aren't managing your own huge lakefront resort soon with many staff members! You'd both well deserve it! The only reason for my 4 stars on location was because it is located in outskirts of Leesburg and Clermont and there isn't much around unless you take an easy and quick drive into either Leesburg or Clermont area to accommodate your desire(s) which could pose an inconvenience to one without transportation, however this is not any responsibility nor problem of the Owner nor his Wife! Thanks again to the Owner and his Wife from our family to yours!!

Provided what we needed (but nothing else.) Actually happy that the second bed was in a little bedroom. A little higher price than we expected. We are assuming it was better than the Rodeway.

This little hidden gem was a great find.
Rooms are clean,quiet and bug free and you won't find a better place for the cost. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Awful place.They said on the phone it was $85 but when we arrived they tried to charge me $250 saying that they didn’t have the cheap room. Don’t go there with a print confirmation email.Beware.

We stayed last week at this motel my whole crew we had four rooms each room was Very nice this motel is quite the grounds are immaculate it is a peaceful place to stay and relax and close to a lot of amusement park within an hours drive we appreciate the hospitality that they showed and the helpfulness with extra towels and anything else we needed thanks from the crew of Peacock Poultry we will return in the future.
