I was told by another shop that I needed a whole new transmission & that was not the case. Lake Sumter did a thorough inspection of the car, then fixed what needed to be. All this was done & we got the car back a week before our appointment!!! They went above & beyond what we expected. Highly recommend them!!! Many thanks!!

I’ve been using Lake-Sumter Transmissions since the early 80’s.
That’s 50 years. They have ALWAYS had a stellar reputation. They do a thorough transmission service, not just a drain and flush. They replace the filter. Most places these days consider a transmission service as a simple drain. Not LS Transmission. They are the very best transmission service. Five star. Highly, highly recommend.

Hello, I was referred to Lake Sumter Transmission by my regular mechanic. I had a Service 4wd light come on. Brian was very attentive to all the information I shared with him in regards to my vehicle. They were very thorough and went over everything and tried to find the problem. Brian gave me an estimate for a possible solution , but because the indicator light did not come on, they b wanted to be sure that was the issue. So they saved me over $500.00. When the indicator light comes on again I was asked to stop by so they can check it
Everyone was amazing. I appreciate all they do. I would recommend Lake Sumter Transmission to all who want experienced mechanics and they genuinely care for their customers and their vehicles. Thanks again to all the staff.
