Think carefully before considering purchasing a vehicle or seeking repairs at this dealership. My recently experienced was nothing but frustration. After leaving my car with them for over a week and spending over $3,000 on repairs, I still encountered the same issues upon getting it back. Returning it for further repairs, I was surprised to be charged an additional $700 for what they claimed was a different part malfunctioning. This was particularly frustrating as their initial quote had been around $300. Furthermore, during a previous visit when I was considering purchasing a vehicle, I was met with unprofessional behavior from the general manager. After expressing that the vehicle was beyond my budget, I was subjected to a tirade questioning why I even bothered visiting the dealership if I wasn't prepared to make a purchase. While I've been informed that the general manager in question is no longer with the dealership, my experience at this dealership has been frustrating and disappointing to say the least!

Today, August 4. 2023, we went to this location for what should have been a simple scheduled oil change on a car we bought last year. We were sitting there minding our own business for a two-hour oil change when my husband went to the bathroom. All of a sudden Kristie Weeks was standing over me, pointing her finger in my face, screaming at me to "Come with me right now". I told her "No, I'll wait for my husband". When he came back, she went up to him and Deen Bohler walked me, too. Kristie told us someone reported to her that we had Covid. We immediately responded that we do not have Covid. Deen told us to go into his office where they continued to berate us, saying they were going to have to sequester us in a room by ourselves and Deen said he would get us masks. We kept saying we do not have Covid!! They said someone reported us. We asked for the name, and they refused to give us the name or names. Both Kristie Weeks and Deen Bohler handled this situation incorrectly as they should have called the Leesburg pice and reported the person(s) who made a false accusation/report. They should have been charged like crying "fire" in a movie theater. They were free to go, and we were treated like criminals. We do not recommend you buy any vehicles here or service your cars here unless you want to be treated sub-humanly like a zombie.

I called this dealership in regards to a car I was very interested in. This Vw dealer is in Leesburg Fl which is over an hours drive through some heavy traffic. I caller and talked to Kim. I asked if the car was on the lot. She answered it should be. I told her I was coming from Orlando and it was over an hours drive and I needed to know FOR SURE if it was on the lot. She put me on hold , came back on in a couple of minutes and said she had talked with her manager and he assured her it was definitely on the lot. I made an appointment to see i at 2:00 pm. My call was at 10:30 am. Got to the lot through some very heavy rain at exactly 2:00 pm. Kim turned me over to a salesman. I asked to see the car, he stated he needed just a little information first. After several questions that they had NO need for to see a car, I again asked to see the car. He said he would bring it around. After 25 minutes, still no car. He brought a newer, and just a LITTLE pricier different car. The one I asked to see hadn't been on the lot for several days. This used to be called bait and switch which is illegal in Florida. Definitely would recommend you drive on by this dealer. Bought the car I wanted from H.C. Hill Mitsubishi in Ocala the next day. No fuss, pleasant dealership, call Tony.

After complaint Jenkins VW made good by filling the gas tank and extras that made the wait a little easier to cope with. I hope this never happens again.

The technicians who are suppose to be certified have caused more damage to my vehicle than anything well my car is under their care to get fixed. Making an appointment for the things that need to get done is always a confusion and everything I ask for never happens. They can't keep the service personnel. I have had some many different people. Think I am finally taking my car to Orlando VW for service for now on! I do not recommend unless you don't mind your car being in the shop for longer because they didn't get everything done in one visit or you see tears in your leather and sealing that the technicians caused.

Terrible terrible terrible. Took them my car to get fixed and was told it was finished and paid $2xx to get it back and have the same issues. Also told me I needed a $170 key and it was $159 to program so I told them not to order it, they went ahead and stuck me with a bill and that didn't even fix the issue. Was told this key would fix all the keyless entry stuff and it didn't. They want it back for further diagnostics to further charge. Please run run away. Volkswagen Orlando is now who I use. They charged me $76 out the door for the key program and did a great job. I drive out of my way to avoid this place.

Hard negotiating with them. Look for hidden fees such as auto preparation. They advertise low prices then add huge preparation fee bring car price to full retail. Remember you can negotiate and bring down the price. If they don't you can just say no and walk out.

Advertised car prices do not align remotely close with the actual price when trying to purchase a car when you arrive. Many red flags from the sales floor so we left to continue our car search elsewhere.

Professional organization with friendly, helpful people from sales to service. I would highly recommend Leesburg Volkswagen!

This is the only place I can recommend to take your VW for service. Andre in the Service Department is the backbone of the department and will go above and beyond to ensure everyone has their vehicle service properly and on time. I have been taking my VW in here for quite some time and I still remember my first visit when Andre confirmed the services to be performed, walked me through the estimate line by line to confirm what was being performed and the cost, and answering any questions I had. Once in a blue moon there will be a mistake during service, but Andre is quick to address it and provide a satisfactory resolution. One time, I even received a coupon for an unexpected delay! A++ Andre

Pulled a bait and switch on me for sure. Advertised vehicle $32,675. Came back at over $42,000 (even though there were no disclaimers on their website that the price would be different!). AND THEN, I have an excellent credit rating, but the financing offered I would've paid over $53,000 for a $33,000 vehicle. Never been more disappointed before. Definitely FALSE advertising. Would NOT PURCHASE a vehicle from this group. Their sales tactics are definitely deceiving!

Gets the job done but they take forever! I drive through construction daily to get to work, and I regularly have to replace flat tires with nails. They always do an adequate job but recently I brought my beetle in to get a computer replaced to fix faulty sensors. While I was waiting hours for them to fix it, the mechanic in the workshop knocked a machine from the adjacent workspace into my car and dented the side of my driver door and the metal strip below my window! They apologized and fortunately didn't charge me for the computer replacement or to fix the dent they caused. UNFORTUNATELY they couldn't fix the dent the same day because the specific mechanic wasn't there. I came back on the next Wednesday, waited for hours for the mechanic to fix it, and turns out he wasn't even at the dealership the ENTIRE time I was waiting from 8:30 to 11:00. The very friendly service clerk kept reassuring me that the mechanic was on his way, just for her to suggest I get a ride to leave the dealership because it was taking too long. I managed to get someone to drive me from the dealership and then come back two hours later around 1:00 and the mechanic managed to pop out the dent (though it's still somewhat visible) but they couldn't fix the metal strip same day because it couldn't be found in any nearby Volkswagen warehouses. By then I was about to throw in the towel because I'd been to the dealership twice in a week but the service clerk told me she'd give me a call when they had the part and she'd send a mechanic to my house to fix it instead of me coming to them. I was highly appreciative of that. A couple days ago I received a call from the same nice service clerk telling me that they are prepared to come to my house and replace the metal strip. Very pleased with her timely manner. TL;DR - The front desk and service center are very polite, courteous, and on top of things, but the mechanics are clumsy and lackadaisical. (Also everything is INCREDIBLY overcharged.)

Final Update: We had the Beetle for two days and the engine light came back on. And was having the EXACT SAME PROBLEMS. Took it back to Leesburg VW and AMAZINGLY ITS A $6700 bill. SAME EXACT PROBLEMS AND CODES IT HD IN THE FIRST PLACE. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. SHAUN MOORE IS A LIAR. Because I'm a woman, he tried to give me all kinds of reasons why the code might not have been there when it came in and why it's on now etc. It had that code on it prior to arriving at VW Leesburg. They bait and switch you.
