Capital Pawn is a pawn shop that many customers recommend, especially the location on Homestead. Multiple reviewers who have used the shop for years report consistently friendly and helpful employees who greet them socially and treat them with respect. These customers state they always receive excellent service and great prices when selling items, and they plan to return.
The business addresses common criticisms found in other reviews by explaining its operational realities. It clarifies that as a pawn shop, it must buy items at a lower price to resell them, so customers should not expect to receive their original purchase price. The shop also notes that customers are responsible for remembering payment due dates on pawned items. Regarding service, the staff indicates that while they are helpful, customers should proactively ask for assistance if needed and should interact politely, as the staff will match the customer's attitude. They emphasize that employees are not racist, countering that claim directly. The overall sentiment from supportive customers is that this is the best pawn shop to go to for pawning needs.
I don't always pawn my guitars but when I do...yep that's right. I gotta go loan on a guitar for a decent amount and happen to find a never used 2019 Jackson in 2026. They have just about everything
