Shocked me when a young lady running register offered to personally walk an elderly gentleman back and show him where items were he was looking for as soon as she could get another worker to cover the register!

“Forgive me I can't recall his name, but there is a black male, maybe in his 30's that recently started working here who has been nothing but helpful to me everytime I've shopped. He helped carry my case of water to the counter upon seeing me stuck holding it in a long line. He has brought me baskets to shop with upom seeing I grabbed more than I had intended. He has been so kind and he is humble and it has been a pleasure shopping at this location having him on your staff.”

“Has a ton of things other dollar stores don't have but it is more pricey than family dollar! Definitely have a big lay out and I believe it even has a produce section and a lot of other dollar stores don't have produce! I love a good salad every now and then and fresh veggies is great to have access too!

“This is my favorite dollar general store they always have what I need and the manager and most of the employees are always super nice . I’ve also noticed that the employees here have been here for a long time and they don’t seem to have such a high turnover rate like the other store that’s close to me in the other direction in Lehigh off Alabama and 82. I stopped going to that store every since they closed to remodel and now everything is changed around too so I’m not as familiar with it but the lines at used to always be super long especially at evening night time”
“As of early August 2025, this store is temporarily closed due to a lightning strike that caused electrical and A/C issues. It's not marked closed on Google yet, but locals confirmed it's shut down for repairs. Hopefully reopening soon.”
