Tried to get help with my electric bill recently, but they said they couldn't help me, that the bill was too high, $1,100: that's 2 months worth when everyone's electric bills went up because LCEC stated that their provider, FPL, had raised their prices so LCEC raised ours. Salvation Army helped me 3 years ago and paid my past due amount of $770.00, but said "no" to me this time. I haven't had power for almost 6 weeks, and I can't get anybody to help. On top of that, i'm sick, disabled, and unable to work, but LCEC wouldn't even let me arrange a payment plan of any kind. They want it all at once or no power. It really sucks!

Terribly rude and unhelpful service. My elderly mother requested assistance after her electricity was disconnected. The woman she spoke to was extremely rude and unhelpful, stating that her electricity was not a necessity. Last time I checked, electricity is needed to preserve refrigerated food, and to cook meals. At the very least a little kindness and compassion should be expected from a "Christian" ministry with the mission to meet human needs.

(Translated by Google) My opinion is terrible, the lady at the reception with an unfriendly character gave me an appointment and it turns out that according to her I was the wrong one, it is a shame with the good treatment received from Mrs. Karla(Original)Mi opinión es pésima , la señora de la recepción de carácter poco afable me dio una cita y resulta que según ella la equivocada fui yo , es una lástima con el buen trato que se recibe de la sra karla
