We have a 17 month old Boxer. Shawnshe has the typical energy and curiosity of a boxer puppy. My husband and I are older and she was ruling the household. We couldn’t walk her, she always pulled. Found StoneHaven and Lyric, as well as her whole family. It is a group effort. The family treats each dog they encounter like their own. We did the 16 day program for Shawnshe. Dropped her off and honestly it was a bit of a relief. We could go home without the chaos that surrounded us there. Lyric sent us daily videos showing us, what had to be some other dog, because our dog did not behave that well. Her daughter was walking her and no pulling involved. Amazing. We now have a dog we can enjoy. Take places and behaves at home. My husband is a Vietnam veteran and we are training Shawnshe to be a service dog for him. She is doing wonderfully. But it would not be that way without Lyric. We did have a couple snags, on our part, with first coming home. We had to learn also and follow through. Lyric even came to our house to help. She is always a text message away with any concerns. She has a monthly session in public to help continue with being able to take your dog anywhere. Obviously I can’t say enough about Lyric and StoneHaven. If you have a dog who needs some manners, StoneHaven is the place to be. ❣️

We sent our energetic, barking and misbehaving Aussie to Stone Havens k9 training with hopes of being able to take our Aussie out in public without any problems or fears. They went above and beyond anything we could have ever asked for! We can’t recommend this training program enough. We will be sending all of our future dogs through the training programs they offer!

I don't even know where to begin.. Lyric is AMAZING and truly a Godsend to me and my family. I rescued two sweet pups and unfortunately they had some behavioral issues that followed them home. It got to the point where I was dodging people and cars every time on a walk. I can say with confidence that this morning I went on a walk and we passed by another dog. With a small correction we were able to walk peacefully right by. I am still IN SHOCK. I can't even believe these are my dogs. I was worried that training may change their personalities and make them more timid and stand offish. But to my surprise it was just the opposite. The pups are even more lovable towards me and my family!! They needed boundaries and thrive off of it. I would recommend Stonehaven and Lyric time after time again. She was communicative their entire 16 day stay which was super reassuring for me. These pups have become my lifeline so it was difficult to leave them. But it was worth every minute away from them to now have a better quality of life for my pups AND myself. ??

We recently got a standard poodle puppy. Although he is a puppy, and will ultimately be a good dog, he was jumping and many of our guests, and was doing other miscellaneous things that were obnoxious. We took our dog Oliver to Lyric because a friend recommended her. She said that this place was the best and she was correct. We picked up our dog Oliver The other day and now I’ve been with him the last three days and he’s a completely different dog for the better. He now knows right from wrong and listens to our commands. If you’re looking for a dog trainer in southwest Florida, I would highly recommend Lyric.

I didn’t know what to do with Choco, my 6 year old Pitbull. His behavior was horrible and getting worse. A friend of mine suggested to me to call Lyric at StoneHaven K9 Training. The best thing I’ve ever done for my dog! She has done wonders for Choco! I am very pleased with her training of the two of us lol. Lyric and her family took our untrained golden retriever puppy and helped him become well-behaved by training us, the owners. We’ve slipped a little bit so are excitedly sending Gunnar back to Stonehaven K9 for some refresher lessons. Could not be happier with the results!

Seriously, money well spent! Nellie was a super hyper pup with zero manners! After the 16-day training, she practically came back a new dog! She no longer tries to escape or get into mischief. She’s calm and responds very well to vocal commands. Lyric means business when she works with your dog. Highly recommend 10/10!

I highly recommend Lyric / StoneHaven for Training! I have 2 young hound dogs that I needed help with maintaining focus and lead. She sent me daily updates and videos on their progress. This was such a great investment for my dogs and me! I can now take them into public together and they are quiet and safe in the car, which were my biggest concerns. They are also so much calmer in the house and I get tons of compliments on their behavior when we are out. Thank you!!

Our dog wouldn’t be with us today if it weren’t for Lyric at Stonehaven K9. My dog was attacked at a dog park at 6 months old and since then had been extremely reactive to dogs. Walking him was a nightmare and a game of hiding and avoiding dogs. Then I found out I was pregnant so we sent him to a board and train in Orlando to make sure we could correct any unwanted behavior before the baby arrived especially since we have never trusted him around children. After 3 weeks, we picked him up and thought he was a new dog. We weren’t given much direction so we slowly went back to our normal routine and his behavior slowly began to regress. Once we brought our daughter home, we did a slow introduction that went horrible. He had the same reactions to her as he did with other dogs. We truly thought that he would never be able to coexist with kids. We lived separate lives. He got dropped off at my parents every day and picked up right before bed time. I no longer spent any time with him. My heart was broken because I couldn’t risk something happening to my daughter but I didn’t want to lose my dog.Then we found Lyric. I spoke with her on the phone and I felt like all my worries would slip away once Louis trained with her. After 30 days with Lyric and her kids Louis was truly a new dog. I now spend my days with Louis and my daughter at home. Walks on the stroller are our daily routine. We now live a normal life at home and he even knows when he has had enough and goes to place on his own. I never in a million years thought that I would be able to have my baby and fur baby in one place at the same time but now he even joins us while we give her a bath. He understands his limits and looks to me for guidance. This wouldn’t be our reality if it weren’t for Lyric.During Louis’ training, we got to see him weekly and worked together on his reactions. We had a new goal each week and Lyric was there to guide us, teach us, and correct us on how to handle his reactions and his daily activities. This guidance and support is the number one reason Louis is still behaving the way he is and not going back to his normal reactive behavior. Lyric gave us the tools so that we could transform Louis into the prefect dog to fit our lifestyle. Lyric’s love and passion for dogs truly shines!

5 Stars! Sending our golden retriever pup to Lyric at Stonehaven was one of the best decisions we’ve made. Our pups behavior since doing the 16 day board and train is night and day different and he is now a perfect gentlemen. I can’t recommend her leadership training course enough. If you’re on the fence about it, I can say it will be the best investment in your dog that you will ever make. Do it!

Lyric has done wonders for our family. Not only did she help get our fur babies on the right track, she went above and beyond to help us with one of the most difficult situations we have ever been in with a very loved pet of ours. The training we received from StoneHaven was all I had hoped it would be and more! Lyric kept me up to date during the2 week board & train. Bella, is already less anxious when walking, & obeying more. StoneHaven has provided us a confident, happy & well mannered dog. I HIGHLY recommend stonehaven! Lyric worked with my Rottweiler for the behavioral training program. By the end of the program, he was a new dog. Lyric is trusting, helpful, caring, and passionate about what she does. I’m so happy with my decision with sending my dog to Stonehaven! I can’t thank Lyric enough for all she’s done☺️
