Yesterday (7-19-25) I flew down from Atlanta to purchase a vehicle from Carpoint Corp. About the time I was on the plane, the dealers computer system was on a planned outage which meant I was not able to get my temporary plates or vehicle registration. We completed the sale anyway with me leaving with the vehicle, the title and the bill of sale. On my way back to Georgia I was pulled over by a local police officer in Daytona, FL. Even though I had the title and bill of sale proving that I had just purchased the vehicle, the officer was not buying it. He told me that without the vehicle being registered I had two choices. Get registration for the vehicle or have it towed. By this time the dealer was already closed. The officer let me off with a warning and allowed me to drive to the the next exit. I then made a phone call to the dealerships owner Bruno. Because of the time, he agreed to pay for hotel accommodations for the night. He went to the dealership the next day on a Sunday when they were closed and the system was back online. He and his Sales Manager Cinthia printed the documents I needed and emailed them and texted them to me at the hotel I was staying at in Daytona. I was then able to get back on the road to Georgia. A big thumbs up to Bruno (Owner), Cinthia (Sales Manager) and Victor (Marketing Manager) of Carpoint Corp in Lighthouse Point, FL. They are awesome. I would highly recommend them if you are in the need of a vehicle purchase.
