I've been in and out of this restaurant for years now. Patty does an awesome job feeding everyone. Best bang for the buck around .

Just had a fantastic omelette here. Everyone seemed to know each other...customers and servers. Really nice vibe. Service was great. Prices are very reasonable. If you are in the area and want breakfast/lunch definitely go here.

You kinda get what you pay for at this spot. Definitely a budget friendly diner with very friendly service. Zero atmosphere & breakfast that is just ok. This is the second visit & both times my bagel was stale & the lox was less than fresh. My friend's omelet was nothing to write home about either. Maybe it's what we ordered? Fellow diners appeared to be mostly regulars & there were many outgoing orders, so there must be others who would disagree with my comments.

You know that guy who is always right, even when he’s wrong? Well, I must be that guy. This morning, we joined friends for breakfast at the Red Fox, a popular diner they discovered a couple of weeks ago at 2041 NE 36 St (E.Sample Rd), Lighthouse Point.Despite the place being packed and with a line of people waiting outside, I have to admit, I found my breakfast mediocre. Let me start with the coffee—they definitely used tap water. Need I say more?I ordered a Western omelet with home-fried potatoes. The potatoes were perfect, but the omelet was sub-standard. The onions, green peppers, and ham bits were seared quickly, not allowing them to soften and blend their flavors together. Moreover, the ham pieces were lukewarm. They prepared the omelet by clumping the ingredients in the middle and folding the edges over. A friend ordered the mushroom and avocado omelet, and it was prepared the same way. With each forkful, the middle ingredients fell off on both sides of the fork (ingredients in any omelet should be mixed in with the beaten eggs before cooking).Everyone ordered hash-brown potatoes with their breakfast. Those hash browns looked like something that came out of a pouch of Pop Tarts and put in a toaster. I tried a bite, and it was okay but too modern for my traditional taste.Would I rush to go back there? I don’t think so. Yet, The Red Fox must be doing something right because they pack them in.

Red Fox Diner is like walking into a time machine from 30 years ago . How refreshing to know a place with Americana still exists down here in South Florida . What a great Local hidden gem this place is with great food and I mean great with Friendly people . The owner came by and refilled my drink twice and made sure everything was good . I wish I lived closer to this place . Do yourself a favor if you have not been here and check it out .

I've been driving by this place for years and meaning to stop in. A friend asked me to meet them there for breakfast. I had the BLT that was excellent. Wonderful friendly weight staff. Will definitely be going back

I did not like the bacon and cheese omelet. The bacon was very crispy and crunchy. And the toast was very limp. Also very loud so we will not be coming back.
