Large Publix located in the Venetian Isles shopping center in Lighthouse Point. The entrance, like most Publix stores is bright and roomy, with the customer service desk right there to help you with any questions. The last time I was there, the place was packed with people needing help with returns and lottery tickets.... Busy place... I went to get some over the counter items and some sunscreen. They had a great selection and I was particularly looking for some that I had digital coupons for....that makes a big difference on the price you end up paying... I got my items, paid and went on my way...

I wish I could give this Publix pharmacy 0 stars , not only was the pharmacist unprofessional and rude , because of the prescription I got prescribed she had the audacity to ask me my medical condition my issue isn't with the medication it's with the POOR customer service every time at this SPECIFIC pharmacy . Do better we are all people

New employees and managers who just don't care about what others think about the company are not necessarily good people who have a good attitude toward people

This is a large well stocked supermarket. Add in its location in tony llighthouse point and you also have high prices, but that's par for Publix these days. What's unusual was the wine tasting they had while we were there. Plus a friend -- who lives in the area and shops here all the time -- tells me about all the celebrities that she runs into here. Many times leaning over the meat counter, she's been elbow to elbow with someone famous. Although they are usually sans makeup or in casual clothes. Or it's their maid or housekeeper shopping for them and after awhile people recognize them, too. I didn't see anyone famous here today -- but I really wasn't looking. We were down the street and I needed to pickup an item only Publix carries (it's their brand). On a positive note: Checkout was fast -- they had a lot of cashier lines open. So that was a plus.

Ashley from the deli (specifically the publix sub section) is always a pleasure. Very personable, attentive and always puts a smile on my face! She takes her time and makes quality suns and salads.

Went to Bakery bought a Birthday cake, which was so bad , no I ring between the layers and a disgrace. Called an hour after my purchase spoke to Manager, Mark who said he would give me a refund on it! Not the money but the list event and ruined birthday! Pretty disgusting way to handle a ruined Birthday. Bad enough that only immediate family was in attendance due to Covid but to not have a cake is awful. No suggestion from Manager to make it right or offer option! Not a very good way to handle this issue. Maybe better Management training would be in order. I have been buying and shopping at this LHP Publix for over 30 years, but you know I would never trust a cake from them again and in addition there are plenty of other supermarkets around. You know Publix, I don't need you!

I brought my good friend from Oklahoma here. He was in town vacationing and enjoying his time. He was amazed at all of the awesome awesome deals. He saved so so much money. He was greatly impressed with the deals Publix offered.

Because it's so close to where I live, I've been here lately and feel compelled to update my previous review. They've significantly upped their game I'm happy to say. The staff is now very helpful and the attitude improvement is undeniable.

**UPDATE: Finally got around to going in to speak with a manager and the problem was corrected. Just a mistake by the cashier during check-out and I got charged for another person's items. [Still taking out one star because the bakery staff wasn't willing to heat back up some hot pastries for me this other time because they had turned off their oven for the day. Should hot pastries then get cold and not sell?] **Beware, they commit fraud at this location. When I was checking out the cashier told me to be careful about what card I use to avoid fraud and then she didn't give me a receipt (I was in a rush so I forgot to grab it). Then at 3:02 AM when I'm asleep in bed the $10 purchase I made goes through on my credit card for $35. This is why EVERYONE should have alerts on all their credit card for every single purchase they make. Fraud happens at the drop of a dime these days.

had some GREAT service in the Deli today... they're pretty 'on' their game when you order online.... ordered 3 Publix subs, all individual preparation, for 1 PM; order was done correctly and on time--including the 'side' of ranch I requested to go with the Publix Chicken Tenders Buffalo sub that was part of the order. nicely done, Publix Deli, ordered online--thank you very much for great products, super service today, and good prices!

I've never thought to review a Publix, considering I've been coming to the same one since I can remember, however after grocery delivery apps and services have recently won me over, it had been a while since I've actually gone to the store. After the rare decision of cooking for myself was made, I went to this location to get meats and veggies, (items I would never have delivered, let alone keep stocked), so that I could do just that. Maybe I've been less observant on other visits to the supermarket, wait no I take that back, not true LOL, however the things I observed today were shocking. Even though there was an employee at about every area of produce and chilled meats, stocking and rotating the shelves, I noticed alarming and blatant lack of observation on their part! Veggies that had black mold growth and holes galore, packaged meat that had turned dark, and chicken that looked dangerous to be near, all in the front rows of their shelves! I had to find my selections by reaching multiple rows behind the first of all of the items I was looking for because I know they like to keep the fresh for last. If something is obviously not going to be sold, pull it from the shelf! However this shouldn't even be something that is said. Don't they have standards and policies when it comes to these things!? In summary, my trip to Publix in Lighthouse Point today, made me want to forever drive the extra couple miles to Whole Foods for my future home cooking endeavors.

I'm a local person who's lived here for a year and goes to this Publix all the time I gave it one star because I developed a serious medical issues try to return products I can no longer eat that I just recently purchased but instead of working with me like Whole Foods they told me they would not give me a store credit when I spend thousands each year here because I didn't have a receipt I had to return things twice because my food allergies got so severe this week and they were very rude about it and short with me. I hope people who work at customer service don't ever develop medical issues themselves if they do hopefully people are nicer to them. They excepted it the first time made some kind of exception and the second time I had to come back they were flat out rude disrespectful and could care less that one of their customers has serious medical issues and needed a few dollars of store credit to buy something I could eat. I will be spending thousands on food each year at another location I hope my big $45 credit was worth the loss and I will spread the word to my friends in the area to avoid this place at all cost!
