I went to Live Oak AT&T store to buy a new phone. She proceeded to tell me about phones. I told her I needed a phone rugged, strong and water resistant. She says they don't have one they don't make one. These are the phones that we have. She talked me into buying a girly flip phone. Then she proceeded to give us a program for senior citizens and said the phone was on a $16 promotion. Well come to find out (here comes the bad parts). The phone is now $300 and something dollars we're making payments on it. Secondly we bought the insurance she says that it'll cover whatever needs fixing on the phone. So, we are paying for insurance. 2 months I've had the phone. The phone breaks in my pocket. The insurance company will not cover the front cover of the phone so now I have a broken phone and can't do anything about it,and I have to finish paying for it which really irks me bad! I then go to the store in Valdosta, which is a corporate store not a franchise. The corporate store has phones that they don't sell in Live Oak because they're a franchise store they're not corporate store. So the corporate store guy proceeded to tell me next time you walk in a store ask him if they're a corporate store and if they're not walk out! What's that got to say about AT&T. So here I am with a broken phone, can't get it fixed and got to pay for it. How do I go about getting a new phone? At least it'll be working and I won't feel so bad paying for it. But still I was lied to about they don't make a rugged phone. This is the $16 phone because of the promotion and insurance company won't fix it unless I pay $250 some dollars deductible which was not presented to me that there's a deductible on the insurance. This is a total total bad situation. I suggest that people who go to AT&T, please walk in the door and the first thing you say should be , are you corporate? So in that situation if they're not, please walk away or you will get lies. I hope people read this because they need to before they walk into a franchise store.
Good luck to all.

I went to check out the New Motorola flip phone that folds. The prices was $1200-$1500 on the phone ?. New Samsung phones are way too much for money.I was like if I spent that much on the phone I must be crazy. But that does not deal with sales plans are not in my category. Their plans are barely any prepaid service so it's like you are tossing a lot of money on the phone more than the plan. Avdersting not telling us to slide the deal on the contract mess on the phone.

Zachary has to be one of the most unprofessional and hatefilled individuals I've come into contact with in a long time. He constantly interrupted me, made me feel worthless and unappreciated, and rushed me off the phone because he had a "real customer" in the store to help. I pay "real" money to AT&T every month for phone and home Internet service, so that makes me a "real" customer too. Perhaps I should consider changing that, since we do have so many choices in who we give our "real" business to for these services.

I pay $90 a month for service through AT&T for the privilege of being able to use a store, but the store.
Has no ability to do anything. If I want anything done I have to call a 1 800 number again again. I say I paid $90 a month to use the service when I could pay $3040 a month so I pay twice this As much for service that I can get for half the price.
As soon as my phone is paid off. As soon as my phone is paid off I will be looking for another company. There's a lot of people that want to provide a service and a star.

It was okay, didn't get my issue resolved. The young man helping me only offered up the answer to my issue by resetting my phone to the level right before factory reset. But I will say, because he mentioned "factory" it lead me down the rabbit hole of "what could go wrong with my phone" ? And I'm starting to think that it's a Samsung manufacturing issue maybe :-(no factory warranty but at&t still has me making monthly payments on a phone that can call out, receive calls but can't forward them nor can I have a voicemail :-(And 5G makes it to where my phone doesn't work at all :-(It's a note 20 so what's the deal ???Also new development, the at&t app doesn't work and a lot of my other apps are starting to drop off and not work as well, so... Idk
