I'm so grateful for the care of this team of professionals! I had a crisis with my dog, and they were ready to receive us upon arrival. I will never forget their care and concern for my pet. Although she didn't survive, the team was very caring and thoughtful! Thank you! Blessings

Our puppy Bella got a 3 inch laceration from running around outside we called our regular vet and they said they could give us meds but they didn't have enough time to stitch it. Then told me they could only suggest going all the way to Gainesville pet hospital... So once I got off the phone with them I looked for animal hospitals closer and found caring hands they answered the phone immediately and got us in immediately. I want to say thanks for taking care of my Belgian Malinois Bella and we are so appreciative for all that yall did to fix her up. We will definitely be taking her and our other three dogs to your place for now on. ????????

We are new customers there. The service has been great. Very compassionate and willing to go the extra mile to get our little girl on the road to recover.

In April 2023, our dog needed an emergency visit for a mouth abscess. They scheduled us the same day, provided an estimate and treated him successfully. Upon picking him up, I noticed they gave him a shot he did not need, stating it was the law and they didn't have it listed on his shot records. His records were provided at the time of our original visit - the office staff stated they didn't need records more than 1 year old (despite the shot in question being given at a 3 year interval). I also noticed the antibiotics he was prescribed were pretty expensive. I checked online, even their online store, and saw the in office Rx was 3x the amount charged elsewhere.Later that day as our dog was coming out of anesthesia, he began vomiting. He was staggering and disinterested in his food. This continued for days. The extra shot given was NOT legally required, nor did they call me to authorize it before giving it to him. On his post surgical check, we brought up our concerns and were brushed off as normal post procedure behavior.Fast forward to heartworm check time, and I elected to try Caring Hands again but with clear communication of exactly what we needed (Lepto shot and heartworm test). The communication with the office manager was professional and caring. She gave us a credit for the shot our pup should not have been given. Upon arrival, the staff was well educated, handled our big boy well and the visit was smooth. I was handed an Rx for 6 months of Heartguard with 1 refill. I ordered a 12 month supply from their online store (with a great discount), only to have the order cancelled by Caring Hands saying he was only eligible for 6 months until he's had his annual vet check up in April - at which point they would authorize the additional 6 months on the prescription I had been given.I asked why the vet visit was necessary for them to give me the final 6 months (as I already had the Rx for the entire 12 months) and was told the vet has to see my dog before they'll authorize the final 6 months. I understand the bloodwork to authorize the Rx - but there is nothing a vet is going to ascertain by "seeing" my dog at 6 months that is related to his Heartguard Rx being fillable.Bear in mind, this dog has never missed an annual exam - this is not a money issue for us. This is however, a huge communication issue with this office (our 3rd major communication error) that affects us - not their office. I also have a preference of ordering his Heartguard in annual quantities so there is 1 delivery vehicle, 1 processing fee and should our finances change, I know our pup has the prevention he needs. The staff member who took my call has forwarded my concern to the office manager.

Great staff and facility. Took Sam my kitten there for his first Vet experience. They were awesome with him, Sam was playing while I left so he could have his neutering done. First time Sam had been away from me since the day I got him. When I picked him up he was a little out of it but happy. He looked great and wasn’t stressed out. Absolutely loved the experience and the staff. If you are in need of a GREAT vet then Caring Hands Animal Hospital in Live Oak Florida is it.

I recently had to have my 14 year old dog euthanized and the staff and vet couldn't have been more kind and caring professionals.they presented my daughter with a beautiful paw print and nose print of our dog and framed it for us even writing Scruff in the poem. It was a beautiful memoir that I will forever treasure. Thank you to everyone involved in making one of the most difficult decisions a calming exprrience

Although I felt that the exam and care was sufficient I felt the price was a little high.

One of the best vets! I bring our "kids" there when they need a vet appt. The one in Lake City is a little nicer than the one in Live Oak; however, both are nice!
