I'd heard good things about 24 Hour Movers, called them in Orlando. You never reach a person. You have to leave a message. I left a message to book movers 2 weeks before my move date. No return call. Called again and filled out a form online. Nothing. Called two more times and filled out a second form asking why I can't get a response (Finally received this: "Please find another company. We are not available to help." No 'sorry' or signed with a name) Now I've lost critical time to find another company while waiting for them to get back to me. How could they be busy when they don't respond to inquiries? That short response would have not only saved me time/stress, I would have considered them in the future.

I contacted them through their website and scheduled a move for 4/1/21, receiving a confirmation email within a day after paying the deposit via PayPal. I left several messages on their Brevard/Orlando number so I could pass them the gate code, but never received a call back. On moving day, I called them several times (even tried the Tampa and South Florida numbers) and also emailed them, but no one answers the phone and it goes to voicemail which no one bothers to call back. After they were 90 minutes late - Yes, you guessed it - and without a call, we had to notify our landlord that we would need another day to move and paid for another day in the kennel for the pup. We contacted PayPal to get our deposit back. I guess when the Big Boys call, 24 Hour Movers actually answer the phone or emails. We got our money back, but the stress and the scrambling to find another mover at the last minute (THANK YOU A MOTHER'S TOUCH MOVERS!!!) was a royal pain. Moving is stressful enough. Don't put any additional stress on yourself and your family! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!Service: Local moving

The movers arrived 2 hours late with no explanation and no communication. I called them multiple times while waiting with no response. Once they finally arrived, they tried backing the truck into the driveway and damaged my landlord's fence. They told me to have my landlord call them to workout payment for the damage, but they never showed up for the estimate and has since stopped returning messages. Very unprofessional.

Complete and utter scam!! I booked the move almost a week in advance with a deposit only to have them not show up on the day of the move.. It all seemed legit after receiving a confirmation via a Google calendar invite and them getting in contact with me shortly after booking however, I was sadly mistaken. After being told the movers will contact me when they’re on their way for my 9am appointment, at 8:30 I began to get a little worried when I didn’t hear anything... I began my multiple calls, voice and text messages shortly after 9:00 and of course, no one answered! It’s now 4:00pm and still nothing.. luckily I was able to find movers in the area that were able to come save the day but of course, it cost me more than I was planning on spending. Thanks for almost complete screwing me 24 hour movers since I Had to be out of my apartment today... I shouldn’t known $200 for 2 hours was too good to be true. Don’t end up like me people and just spend the extra money for a reputable moving company like KB movers in Melbourne that saved me!!EDIT to the response-Yes, I accidentally selected the incorrect Saturday and yes I did call immediately after realizing I made the mistake and had you adjust the date to the 7th which was the last day of my lease... I then receive another calendar invite for the 14th... not the 7th... So i messaged you again saying that was incorrect then I finally get the correct calendar invite. On the 6th, I messaged you at 4:00 PM asking for a confirmation, at 9:00PM you message me back saying "yes. Our movers will call before coming out". If this was actually confirmed 12 hours prior to the move, where is the mixup? As I stated in the review, I called several times and left several messages that day with no response so I had to jump through hoops to get my stuff moved that day. I wasn't sending and receiving texts through a landline so why couldn't I get a single response?Thank you for a refund however, with the lack of communication and services not showing up, I still stand by the one star and can not recommend this company to anyone.
