Banfield (not just this one) feels more like a money scheme than a veterinarian now. These people are nice, but they are horrendously under staffed. It’s hard to get an appointment, and you have to leave your pet there all day. I’m talking 8+ hours. They rush through whatever treatments or tests, and this last time they told me they had to send the results to a lab and it would take days. If you had to send everything to a lab, why was my cat there for eight hours??? I saw a “vet assistant” in the room and when I asked him questions about the procedure, he simply said “oh I don’t know. I only know about the wellness plans and what the prices are.” What???Banfield has gone so downhill and it’s sad. I’ve also been calling for days trying to get the doctor to tell me the results of the tests. I won’t be renewing any plans.

Came in because our dog was constipated and vomiting$700 later and they weren’t able to let us know if there was any blockage stopping him from poopingThey were no help at all

All the vets and staff are super attentive. They truly show love for your pet. If your pet feels icky and needs to get medical attention, this is the right place to go. They treat my baby like there own.

An incredibly poorly run place with unhappy people. Do not let them talk you into the optimum wellness plan. You can not get an appointment and have to deal with the attitudes of the staff. Once you see a doctor you can't get questions answered. Dealt with an office manager when I couldn't get a return phone call, then she was gone and no one would respond.

Sure they are here to help pets, but be wary of them trying to charge you for every little thing. They will make sure to get every penny out of you and that makes the experience very unpleasant. It used to be a yearly exam now they want a monthly exam?Finding a new vet immediately

I don't understand whats happening to this location. The vets from years past were great. I never had an issue. Ive been going to this location for over 8 years now. In the last few months a new vet has shown up, replacing the one we love, and she seems to be a money making machine. EVERYTHING needs a test, everytime.Oh, the medicine was working correctly? Well, we need to test every month to make sure its still working fine. What?Can you please authorize my pets pill purchase online, its been 5 days. Oh, you need to come in and test.I want to be clear, they are great for my dog. Sometimes its a pain with them, but they do a great job with her. Its my cat. She is 18. She needs these pills to live. I signed up for the wellness plan against their wishes, because they thought it was a bad idea to put a 18 year old cat on a plan. Within one year they wanted to test 3 times for the same exact medication. THREE TIMES. Whats the point? She 18 and needs these pills to live. I'm paying your monthly fee for services I really don't need and still getting thrown through the ringer.Either Banfield is increasing their prices for their wellness plan and making their vets charge and charge and charge for anything extra... or this new vet is a money making machine and works off getting bonuses for the amount of money she can bring into this location. Im beyond frustrated with this place and its mainly due to the new vet. The staff is great. I have never had a problem with them. They are courteous and helpful in every way.But it seems like their directives on what can and cant be done are simple... bring in more money

The ENTIRE staff are so amazing! My baby Luna is a happy hyper pup, and they took good care of the both of us and made sure the experience was great!Dr. Roman, April, and Jacob and there is another tech( I’m sorry I can’t recall her name) but everyone is so genuinely so kind!

Everyone here is sooooo amazing! They treat me & my old girl Mindy like we’re part of their family! She’s 13 (almost 14) and has to get fluids twice a week due to kidney disease. They always get her in when I call to make her an appointment and are always super attentive and super sweet about everything, even if it’s just because she looks at me funny one day LOL! I’m a dog groomer and whenever any of my clients are looking for a vet recommendation, I always tell them to come here! 10/10 recommend this place for your pets care & needs <3 Bonus picture of my girl to spread some smiles :)

I have been using Banfield for over 10 Years and I want to say thank you to front desk staff, nurses and Dr Daniels for everything they did for us yesterday at the Longwood location. Our dog comes to this location but we took our cat to the Lake Mary location last week as it is closer. Although a FEW of the staff members were great, our experience was rather unpleasant. The blood work-which had abnormalities-was not discussed with us. There was no discussion about what other possibilities could be causing our cat the issues we are facing other than what WE had thought it could be. We were give a rather short briefing and told to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up.After seeing our cat decline rapidly in less than a week, we immediately made the decision to go to Longwood. To the staff and Dr Daniels- we cannot thank you enough for taking us in-without an appointment and giving our cat the best care possible and taking the time to actually discuss things with us. This will be our location from now on as both Dr Roman and Dr Daniels, including all the staff, have treated us like family. Thank you.
