To the lady at counter 6 this morning on 12/4/2023, you're undoubtedly the most person I've encountered. Your utter disregard for efficiency and customer service ruined my day, and I genuinely hope karma catches up with you sooner rather than later. Now, let me recount the tale: my Maryland car plate expired last Thursday, and today, I had the pleasure of dealing with your incompetence while trying to secure a temporary tag, I’ve got a new car which I'll be picking up during the Christmas week. Armed with the car title that clearly showed my brother as the seller and me as the buyer, you couldn't be bothered to check properly. After a reluctant conversation with your seemingly more sensible boss, you proceeded to make absurd demands, rejecting my perfectly valid Geico insurance because it happened to be from Maryland. Bravo! Your biased actions wasted not only my time and effort but also told me temporary plate will cost me a hefty $377 fee for a 30-day temporary tag, LOL. Oh, and it seems the person next to you had no qualms providing a temporary plate to a New Yorker. Whether your behavior was because I’m Black or not, the joke's on you. I've decided against getting a Florida tag, thanks to your stellar attitude. If you're having a bad day or dealing with cramps, perhaps you should take a break from work and spare the rest of us your incompetence. I'll be happily sticking with my Maryland plate for my new car, well at least the receptionist had the decency to be nice. ?

Just spoke with this woman named Julie at the front desk, I approached to her nicely and politely however she was very rude and impatient with me. I’m not sure why they would hire someone like this person at the front desk because she’s so not a patient, kind, or nice. I also forgot to mention I’m an Asian. Maybe that has A LOT to do with her attitude towards me.

Waltonza s. Was amazing. If there was a DMV in heaven, this would be it LOL. Maybe I just get lucky ,but every time I come in here it's really fast and people really help. I think the reviews are based on people just not want to pay a bunch of taxes LOL and I'm in that group 2 so no disrespect

Made appointment for 7/3, got confirmation text an hour before appointment time. Arrived 15 minutes prior to appointment only to find out they were closed for the 3rd and 4th. The sign on their door says they were notified of the days off on 6/28, yet couldn't be bothered to notify those with appointments on 7/3 of the change.

I been here a couple of times and so far they have been great! I always try to schedule an appointment just to make sure I don’t have to wait a lot but the appoint system is very easy to used and you get multiple option.When you arrived and approach the front desk the person there has always been nice and helpful and so far has only taken a couple of minutes of waiting time before they call my number.After that the attention at the window has been excellent, fast and friendly I definitely recommend this location!

I went this without an appt. and was waiting maybe 20 min, and I was taken care of in 10 minutes. The staff was courteous and professional. I didn't get all the other garbage reviews about this location. I didn't experience anything negative. Also, there ARE restrooms here despite what I read on another review.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Swami from this location! She was a superstar. I had a hectic day today where I had a horrible customer experience in the orange county office. I went to that location about 5 times and was misinformed, given the wrong information and they were not willing to explain anything to me.I arrived at the Altamonte location and was greeted by Swami with her amazing smile and welcoming approach. She assured me I was in the right place and helped me get everything situated. She explained the different counties, how often things get changed, helped me get a new license picture and helped me get my stickers for my car. She was really a super star and turned my whole entire morning for the better. I left with a smile on my face and was super grateful to get someone like Swami who actually cares about helping people and getting them taken care of. Shoutout to you Swami for being so kind, friendly, knowledgeable and for going above and beyond. You truly made my DMV experience better and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to experience your level of service! Thank you again!

Had the Casselberry office send a title request to my bank, which says they never received it. Went to the Altamonte office, and was told the address I gave for the bank was wrong (even though the bank gave it to me), and that the one in their computer was right. Went today as my second temp tag is expiring tomorrow, and was told the first address was correct, and their computer was wrong. Now they are just going to fax the request. So as of tomorrow I can not drive my car, because someone screwed up. I guess I'll have to sue to get reimbursed for the rental I now have to get.
