I was looking for an additional storage unit at the location near my house and accidentally booked this location online. However, the manager of this location (Kim) is the reason I kept the booking. She is friendly, funny, and straightforward. This is the second ExtraSpace Storage that I have had a great experience with. Thank you, Kim!

I am only giving a one star for the poor manager named Kim. Not the company I love extra space this would’ve been a ten I always had good experience before Kim came. Amanda was a doll I really hope she gets transferred back. Ever since kim was transferred it’s been issues. I have never had any issues with Extra space before. I’m not going to have enough to write on here but I can call to explain in more details now she has done something nice by holding my keys but later to find out that she was trying to get into my unit while I’m not there. Here’s a picture of an out of order sign placed in the bathroom. I did not see the out of order sign as I walked in but before I left the building i did. typically I use the bathroom when I leave she always have a problem with me using the bathroom i don’t know considering it’s not home it’s an actual bathroom for customers so this is the proof by the pictures that she clearly put the sign because she didn’t want me or anyone else use the bathroom which she’s not suppose to do because I bet there’s no plumbing or maintenance scheduled to fix the apparent bathroom that’s out of order but yet she going to take the sign off eventually Kim always shows that she does the right thing she follow the rules but she picks and choose which ones that customers have to follow and she Play around with it she expects you to follow rules as a customer but as an employee does whatever she desires. I am just confused this is not her personal home if she has an issue with me fine but she is still an employee whatever personal feelings she Have towards me has nothing to do with her position or why she was hired she still has to be an employee and still have to treat me like a customer I swear every time I go here to this place it’s always something with her i never had these issues with employees at extra space within the three years of being with extra space if it’s her than the problem is her I feel like I’m caught in a bad telenovela series with her as oppose to going to the storage place and checking up on my items and organizing my unit which is all that I’m interested In doing. I would love to suggest to actually put professional staffing that love customers and regulars and want to do their job not put a fake facade as if there this good employee and do sneaky things to their customer it’s her no it’s not a reality tv show this is a very customer service position so I’m perplexed as to why she operates more like it’s her home and she’s the owner when she is a site manager which is technically an associate to the franchise. She nit picks rules and guidelines yet she breaks them as an employee she does things sneaky so you wouldn’t catch on to what she is doing. Very disappointing because I love extra space so loyal to you guys it’s disappointing that this is occurring. I literally don’t want any issues but she always have an issue this is her work. If you can’t deal with the customers and do the no without your emotional feeling maybe it’s not the work for you but why am I being treated differently I’m a customer the same way you treat others is the same way you should treat me she also an issue with the homeless people in there I notice as long as they have a unit they are customers you don’t have the right to pick and choose who to treat better your an employee you are under extra space employee guidelines as long as they have a unit they are considered a customer there’s no law or rules that say you have to treat people that are homeless differently as long as they have a unit with extra space they have to be treated the same you are under extra space time clock so this is not “do whatever you want” I noticed that with her as I observe her behavior for these past couple of months. She keeps the bathroom locked we have to ask her permission to open it in the extra space I was at before they didn’t do that so I know that this is not a policy she isn’t suppose to do that.

The service at this place has been beyond what I expect from a storage space. Kim has gone above and beyond and has even reached out to me when one of my kids left the lock open so I was able to come and secure our unit. She's been fantastic and I can't say enough good things about her! Everyone here has been friendly and helped to facilitate an unexpected need for a place to store a houseful of furniture quickly. Great people and the place is clean and secure.

We know others who have used Extra Space Storage in the past and who shared their good experience with us. After we signed up, we determined we needed a bigger unit. Kim and Debbie went the extra mile in making sure we got the unit we needed and to make all aspects of the transition very smooth. We have really appreciated the personal touch they provide and how they have been ready to help in any way.
