I could not recommend Mike and Christina anymore; they are truly the best when it comes to dog training. If you are considering having your dog trained, PLEASE do yourself a favor and send your dog here!
The price is more than fair, especially when you see the results you get. I have a one-year-old pitbull who, even though she is as sweet as can be, was a menace when it came to manners, listening, and the worst of all, going for walks. I was not able to walk Maple due to pulling, her being reactive to every single person, animal, thing, you name it, on our walks. She refused to listen, and it seemed like no matter what I did to curb her behavior, she came back at me ten times stronger. After finally having enough of her behavior, I decided to research dog trainers to help me get her under control, not only for me but for her as well. After discussing with Mike about my concerns and what I'd like the outcome to be, we came up with a plan and set a date. Mike is amazing at answering questions, concerns, and communicating in general. His wife, Christina, is who does all the magic when it comes to training. After the ten-day program, it was time to pick up Maple, where we were then shown how to implement the training. Mike was crystal clear with instructions, the do's and don'ts, and answered any questions we had. There is a lifetime guarantee, but if you follow the instructions given to you, you won't need it. I picked Maple back up on September 5th. It is now October 26th when I am writing this review, and I couldn't be any happier with how successful the training was. You have to be consistent and follow the directions given to you, but it is all worth it. Maple's quality of life is so much better because of the training. I am able to have people over now, Maple is able to go out in public now (because she actually listens and doesn't cause a scene anymore), and she's just overall more enjoyable to have in the house. You can tell that they really care about what they do. They also reach out to you after a while to see how the training has worked out so far, and they love to hear and see updates. The communication is top-tier, and that alone makes the training worth it. However Christina does it, it certainly works and is well worth every penny. I can't thank them enough for all of their help! Please do yourself a favor if you have a troublesome dog, and take them to Calypso Canine. Both you and your dog's quality of life will improve drastically, and you will be so grateful that you did every single day.

My fiancè and I couldn't be happier with the results from sending our 8 month old Mini Dachshund, Wilbur, to Calypso Canine. In 10 days our little Wilbur went from a disaster dog, to a well-trained little puppy who LISTENS! Wilbur no longer pulls on his leash when walking, reacts to other dogs/humans, barks at random things, or bites us.
It has been 2 months since we sent Wilbur to Calypso. His results are still the same. It definitely takes work to reinforce the training on our end, but it is totally worth it. He seems like a happier dog, and I know we are certainly happier! We have been referring everyone we know to Mike and his team at Calypso and will continue to do so!

We couldn’t be more thrilled with our experiences at Calypso Canine! We’ve now sent both of our dogs for training and the results have exceeded our expectations each time. Our labradoodle went in 2021 for basic obedience and to help with some behavior issues like nipping at our kids—he came back a completely transformed dog. Most recently, we sent our mini aussie doodle and we’re beyond happy with how well he responded to the training. Mike was fantastic at communicating throughout the process and it’s clear he’s passionate about what he does. The training facility is clean, professional, and well-run. We highly recommend Calypso Canine to anyone looking for real, lasting results with their dog!

Calypso Canine changed our dog for the better! We did the board and train for about ten days. Our puppy is laid back, does much better on walks and stopped biting and barking! Can't thank them enough!

We left our 1 year old great Dane with Crystal and Mike for 10-days and it was the best decision we made for training. She came back like a new dog. She is now listening to her basic commands by only asking her 1 time instead of numerous times. She will stay in her place with distractions and only come off when released. She no longer is doing things around the house that she knows she is not supposed to do. I recommend them 100%. Thanks again guys. You did an awesome job and we are thankful we chose you for Meadow.

I am profoundly grateful for the time, care, and dedication the remarkable team at Calypso devoted to my girl. Today, Maggie truly shone, showcasing her progress both at home and in the world around her. As we strolled by the lake and golf course—places where she would have once lunged excitedly after ducks and rabbits—she remained remarkably calm. Instead of getting distracted, she redirected swiftly and even glanced back at me for approval. My heart swells with pride at her transformation. I have a 2 yr old Basenji , and this breed is know to be very difficult to train. I was very skeptical at first bringing her to training wondering if this was going to help her listen. Needless to say I was so wrong. This was the best decision I made, my only regret was I wish I would have brought her sooner. Not only doesn’t she not pull on the leash , come back when you call her and stay in her place when told, but she has calmed down and seems so much happier. Before we called her a flight risk if you left the door open , now shes able to walk off leash and won’t leave my side , which blows my mind. She’s gotten more freedom and there is no more yelling or frustrated dog parents any more. Mike and his team answer any of my questions anytime I have one and treated our girl so well. People have come to our house and compliment how well
Behaved she has become. Don’t sleep on training your dog with them it’s worth every penny.

My 10-month-old Golden Retriever, Goose, was as rambunctious as they come—constantly jumping on people out of excitement, pulling me on walks to greet others, or chasing small animals. I felt like I couldn’t take him anywhere because, quite frankly, I had no control over my dog. Thankfully, a family member recommended Calypso Canine, and both my life and Goose’s have completely changed for the better! I can now truly enjoy every adventure life has to offer with my best friend by my side—literally. Mike and the Calypso team have changed our lives with our dogs. We went from chaos and anxiety in the house to calm and peaceful. So, I had my 17 month old dog trained this past March. I waited almost two months to post my review because I wanted to have the real time at home to see if this training program really worked. With my two boys and I implementing the training we received, on a daily basis with our 70lb dog , I am astounded by the change in her behavior. She doesn’t jump or puppy bite anymore. She remains in place until we release her. My friends come in and she doesn’t even budge to greet them. On our walks, she remains by my side until she is free to go. Most astonishing is her recall back to us. The stress level in my home from the lack of control I had with her is at zero for the first time since we rescued her. I look forward to being with her so much more now and I have Mike and his wife to thank. It is truly life changing in the most positive way!! She’s finally able to live her best dog life!!

Our Goldendoodle puppy, Charlie, had a very positive experience at Calypso Canine! He is significantly better behaved in our house and doesn’t jump on people or furniture. We were worried he would lose his happy puppy state after training, but that was not the case. He is still the same happy little guy! Mike was outstanding with communication before Charlie’s stay, and has been extremely responsive to all of our questions after we picked up our pup.

Mike and Crystal did an amazing job with our German Shepard mix. We have tried other trainers and nothing compares! Before our dog would pull on leash, jump on people and only listen when he wants. Now he is completely off leash. His recall is perfect! I never thought it would be possible. Calypso Canine is well worth it!

We were referred to Calypso Canine from a friend after they saw immense improvement for off- leash walking, full name recall, and other critical training aspects. Mike and his wife were excellent communicators and worked with us as our plans changed. They are fully transparent about their training methods and what to expect from them — all around great company to work with.

My 2 year old Aussie went through the Dream Dog program about a month ago and my only regret is not doing this sooner! Walks went from frustrating, constant pulling, and barking at other dogs and people, to calm, peaceful, and confident for both my dog and myself!
I feel much more confident having new people over in the house with her place training. I feel less frustration on a day to day basis with her not barking at every person that walks by.
Overall, this program has brought so much peace, confidence, and assurance in our home (which was much needed with a baby on the way in 2 months!) Mike has done an amazing job answering questions from my first inquiry, to follow ups a week later!
