I don’t often write reviews but I have to give credit when it is due.I made my fourth purchase from Tropical Bamboo today and was once again very satisfied with my purchase and the customer service. The bamboo was even bagged so it wouldn’t make a mess of my car.They have the best prices in the state for retail purchases and they are worth the drive. Every variety you could imagine.

Helpful staff and an incredible number of bamboo varieties.Excellent for seeing the mature plants prior to purchasing. The garden is beautiful.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff curate a huge selection of bamboo species. Plus, they ship small containers (3gal & 5gal) via UPS and pallet shipments for larger plants and orders.Our Chinese dwarf bamboo - a clumping, non-spreading variety- made a great privacy screen at the property line. Prices are quite reasonable and plant quality is excellent!

A bamboo forest tucked away off a dirt road with many varieties to select. Very helpful staff to recommend the right type of bamboo for your garden.

Mail ordered 4 of the 3 gal. pots of Graceful Bamboo. Planted them 6 ft. apart. Here are pics when planted (Feb 22) and now (April 23). Easy to grow. Used 16-4-8 fertilizer and watered a lot. Don't think it's possible to overwater. Hurricane Ian beat them up a bit and also seemed to blow in a bunch of mealybugs. Fought mealybugs for a while. Finally eliminated them with soil drench of Imidacloprid.

Wow this place is Great. They have so many different types of bamboo plus it is so relaxing walking on their paths they made for you to look at. If you are in the area it is a must see. Everyone is super nice also.

There are no words to describe how awesome this place was! The people who work there take pride in what they do! This place was so beautiful I almost cried and I’m a grown man. Sweetest people you could ever meet! They don’t charge admission either. It’s totally free! Go on a cloudy windy day that’s when it won’t be crowded! We basically had the place to ourselves!! Bamboo they sell is very well priced and great quality! We came on February 18th 2023

We went to Tropical Bamboo as un-knowing as you can get. The place is awesome. We had the help of Samantha Hudon who knew everything you needed to know about bamboo and steered us in the right direction. She is a definite asset to the company--She eats, drinks and sleeps bamboo-- The grounds are beautiful and I never saw so many varieties of bamboo in my live, I did'nt even know there were so many. Worth the trip ( a little tricky to get there but very worth it) Great place to spend a few hours looking at all the beautiful and lush surroundings. The "spider" is awesome. Unfortunately never got to see the "corpse flower"--Would recommend this place to anyone wanted to know about bamboo.
