I attended all classes and put all the tabs on the books. I actually made more tabs and completed most of the practice tests. I answered at least 60% of the questions without opening a book. If you listen and do everything the instructors tell you to do, you can't fail. You get what you pay for. You can get the books cheaper I am told, but knowing what to study is where the value of this course shows it worth. I passed both the business & mechanical B easily the first time. I have referred others to this course and they have passed on the first time too. I have heard of people trying to do it without the course and failing six times:(. You get what you pay for. You would not hire Chuck in a truck, pay these people to help you pass the first time. I did not have my test scheduled until 6 months after the course because of COVID restrictions, don't do that. Have you test scheduled as close to the completion date of the course as possible. I had to go through everything again every night for a couple of weeks before I took my tests. I will be taking more courses for more licenses.

I regret getting the books from here. They send you tabs for an extra fee but not the highlights. They wanted $2300 more for the classes and then they would send a self study guide with the highlights and practice questions. The classes are ONLY for business. I would also need to travel to Tampa, Orlando or Ft Myers which is far for me. The lady on the phone had the attitude like she couldn't give 2 craps what I did. Other places offer the total package for about $1000 less. It's a lot of money for me and to get this kind of support was huge negative. She even told me to go to another school if i didn't like it. Swear to God, that's what she said. And I was polite and didn't get nasty or anything. I would NOT have bought the books here if the people I talked to would have advised me thoroughly. I hope this helps someone else avoid my mistake.

Spoke to two different ladies and I couldn’t get much help or information other then look at they’re web page . I have a bad vibe about choosing this school . When you’re spending this much money you expect more help.

I had to take the exams twice, missed 2 exams by 1 question. Went back to class a few months later and took the exams the way they told me to. Passed all 3 ?

The Ladies who answer the phone are very friendly and helpful but the cost to value seems to lack. Unfortunately i purchased books from them before finding out there are two other Florida based businesses that include online classes and practice exams for free when you purchase the plumbing set from them.

Took the camtech course on recommendation of another former student that took it back in the early 90s. Best decision I’ve ever made in my career. Passed both HVAC & business exams on the first attempt. Craig & Tim are great instructors. Will recommend to anyone who asks. Thanks again!

WOW!! I can’t believe it took me a year to write this review but ever since I passed my GC exams, thanks to CamTech’s incredible info, I quit working for the GC I was working for & started my own residential GC construction company!Honest Hammer Custom Builders, LLC was born in late 2021 & is full force thanks to my GC license. I’m working to renovate bathrooms, kitchens, installing outdoor decks & anything else home owners want to build but didn’t know how, or couldn’t trust anyone to help.All of this has been possible thanks to CamTech’s weekend classes, the homework & the exams! Seriously, I know Tim will tell you over & over again: “If you do the work you will get the results!” And I promise you I did the work and I crushed the exams! I took every practice tests at least twice, once fast off memory only & another with the books & the highlighting is SPOT ON!! Seriously I got two 88’s and a 93 on my exams.Go to CamTech if you’re serious about becoming a licensed professional in the construction field! The classes & prep works. I’m a person who needed in person classes and organized homework setups. CamTech is perfect! Seriously. What are you waiting for?! If you’ve read this post for this long you are obviously serious about this…go for it! You won’t regret it!!

So I ended up going to Camtech at the advice of a friend in the Hvac field who said it's the only place you want to go if you're serious about passing. The sheer amount of work required to highlight your books and become proficient at the practice tests IMHO is daunting. I however did pass both of my tests 2 years after initially enrolling. With 85/86% respectfully. Do what they say and you will pass. Thank you Camtech

I passed the plumbing and business first time with help from cam- techit takes hard work all you have to do is trust the way they teach there course . thy will show you. things that you may not understand ? but just trust them and do it the way they tell you and you will pass

Went to this school for my Hvac license, this school is the real deal. Passed both tests on first try. Had multiple friends try other schools and failed 2-3 times. Thank you Cam tech for all the help

Excellent instruction and tools to pass the exam! You get what you pay for. This school is simply selling a system to pass the exam. If you follow the system there is no reason you will not pass. Tab & highlight your books, pay attention in class, do the take home tests and pass the exam.....simple right?! I work a full time job and sacraficed a few months of free time to invest in my future. Passed the GC first time!
