Okay, so on 11/8/23 I was hit by a car in the parking lot at work (Camry) when I was not in the car and the car was parked. There was around $1500 of bumper/quarter panel damage. A month later (I am not kidding) I was rear ended by another car in our other Vehicle (Highlander) coming out of Church. There was around $3800 in damage for that "incident". Zero liability to me in either case. Point is; The at fault driver's insurance in both cases had Gerber Wesley Chapel as a preferred shop. I am very glad they did. Shelley hand held me through both instances; two unique experiences with two different insurance companies (that were not my own). She advocated for me during the process; anticipated every move they would make, which was nice as I'd not had body work needed in quite some time. Repair- flawless in both cases. Rental car (Enterprise) integration to the shop. . perfect both times. Amount of time in the shop. . . half the estimated time in both cases; with communication all along the way. In house staff was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Even got a kick out of the "office dog" (sorry, forgot the name). Bottom line: I'd use them again. I hope I don't have to; but I would not hesitate. Thanks Gerber!!!!

They did a great job repairing my car. They kept me informed through emails of the progress daily as well. Very friendly atmosphere! Wonderful crew!

I have dealt with many body shops as a Personal Injury Attorney, I have never worked with one that is as Professional, Caring and Competent as this Gerber location. Excellent service, Excellent Warranty on Work performed.

After multiple attempts at fixing what should have been a minor repair covered under my insurance accident claim, Gerber asked me to pay out of pocket for an additional part claiming a new accident ( without proof) had caused more damage. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Called for an elderly friend so she could obtain an est for fixing her dented hatch. The place was clean, people were very nice & estimate was free. Due to amount it would cost to fix the dent, she decided to live with it as on limited income. I called them back to advise of her decision . They could not have been nicer.

Gerber was a USAA "approved provider" at the time of my auto accident on 1/13/22. Repair work had to be redone twice - once for bondo work issues (contour lines didn't match the opposite side) and once for paint blemishes. Took months to get the car back and all seemed to be OK until I got an oil change - the 2 front tires had been completely chewed up. When I went back to Gerber, they found nothing wrong. I then went to an alignment shop and the left front ball joint was completely loose (causing the extreme tire wear). In the accident, Gerber repaired the right front side of the suspension - they told me the accident didn't cause the damage to the left front ball joint and I would have to pay for it. Too coincidental especially since I heard a frequent clunking sound on the left front side in the days and weeks after I picked up my car from Gerber. Fortunately USAA agreed with me instantly and set me up with Caliber Collusion to finish the work. Apparently Gerber is no longer an approved USAA provider - not surprising to me given the issues I had with them (likely I was not the only less than impressed customer). While this is a negative review for Gerber, it is a very positive review for USAA.

Connie had an extremely off putting demeanor throughout the entire interaction - both on the phone and in person. It seemed like she didn't even want to deal with my car issues regardless of the welcoming vibe I continued to have. They also didn't fix my car correctly so when I called back she was still extremely rude and didn't mention to anyone that I needed it fixed. I had to call again the next day and found out it was never brought up. There was a woman that dealt with my inspection that was SUPER nice though and more than happy to deal with all of my issues, I couldn't get her name but she was absolutely outstanding.

They fixed the issue I brought it in for but couldn’t even mention that they ran my car almost COMPLETELY out of gas, I didn’t make it 2 miles down the road and my tank was EMPTY. Needless to say I will not be returning. Also my car was filthy inside on pick up??Service: Body & Trim

The pickup time changed every time I asked, which would have been manageable if communication had been initiated by the shop to keep me informed. Instead, I was never let know about the change until I called and bothered the shop multiple times, and rarely called back after I called asking. I had to chase the shop for updates and it was very stressful.When I got my car back it's making a weird noise when I accelerate. Shop says it's normal. It's not, that's not normal, now I have to spend more time getting it somewhere else to get it looked at because they thinking odd clucking during acceleration is normal. This place is horrible.

I’m speechless after leaving this pathetic excuse for an establishment. Shelley, being who I had to maintain contact with was rude from the start. But it gets worse, after taking care of the last bit of paperwork necessary to retrieve my car back into my possession- Shelley then told me there was no such paperwork even after my insurance agent told me she had already sent it over for them to charge me for betterment and my deductible. I then ask the front office lady (whom was far more pleasant to deal with than Shelley) to kindly pull up my file to pay and there it is right in front of her- I proceed to pay but while attempting to pay, Shelley storms out of her office to demand she get off the computer to stop me from paying for the service. She snaps at her a second time as the front desk employee clearly sees she has no reason to deny me from paying for my car’s repairs. However she was too late, my payment already went through, Shelley then takes said employee back into the hall where I hear her scold her for simply doing her job. This poor employee already had my file pulled up and saw for herself that everything was in order to let me take my car back. Shelley then comes to the front after harassing her own employee to tell me extra paperwork is still necessary to be done before my car will be returned back to me and that it likely won’t happen in the same day.From trash talking myself along with other customers in a full front lobby, to withholding my car, to subpar repair service where my door is still rattling, to warehouse staff coming up front to doodle on copy paper- I would avoid this “business” at all costs and take your hard earned money literally anywhere else you can. This has been the absolute WORST experience with ANY business I have ever had to deal with. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this nightmare of an experience at Gerber and I will be taking my car elsewhere to fix what they couldn’t over the course of 2 entire month of holding onto it.

Scot and the rest of the team at Gerber did warranty repair on my vehicle from an initial repair that was done incorrectly at a shop in Tennessee.The repairs were made correctly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this shop for your repair needs.

I was in a car accident and the insurance company suggested using Gerber!! So I agreed and when I went to receive a quote the gentleman added many different things to the quote that was not included in the accident. Which I found out after reviewing the estimate.I tried calling Gerber to question the gentleman about the estimate and for four days straight every time I called he happened to be on lunch or on another call so each time I asked for him to please call me back he never did. Then I spoke with the young lady who answered the telephone calls that the insurance company cut me a check for the repairs and she got upset and asked why did they do that when they where supposed to cut us a check. I replied I have no idea why. So she continued to say she would have to call the insurance company to straighten something out between them , and she would have the gentleman that gave me the estimate to call me back afterwards. So of course no one called me back. So now I intend to take my issue elsewhere. To those who plan on using Gerber please pay attention to the estimate because I’ve looked at other reviews and it seems as though Gerber tends to add things to the quote that aren’t necessary. And also the staff is not that professional!!! At least the people I dealt with. I am not the type of person to bash a company or use any names in my reviews but just want to bring awareness!!!!!Service: Body & Trim
