The man with glasses and a beard was very extremely rude and Disrespectful Between With us Just trying to ask simple questions Always giving us an attitude Like if he doesn’t wanna help us The final straw was when we were returning the key He blatantly ignored us, trying to help another customer Thankfully, the other customer was nice and also we were here And really just said drop the key in the orange box And when we asked a question about An overcharge on fuel he just says that’s U-Haul’s problem Not elaborating or explaining the situation at all so Unprofessional Please, if you’re in the market To rent any truck please go to a different U-Haul Center Or their competitors Don’t even bother coming here Unless you want horrible customer service Hope it was worth it.

Have rented trailers 3 times and a box truck once. Equipment always there as reserved. Quick pick up with no hassle. Return on app - quick and easy.

Update the mobile app with better and more up to date information on inventory. The app showed me there weren’t any cargo vans at my location, meanwhile the site showed there was. Other than that I had a great experience!

Truthfully, I'm not happy with the fact that my family was provided with, essentially, an unsafe truck. It had a gravely marginalized turning radius due to a badly needed alignment. I literally had to traverse the roads and highway with the steering wheel at a vertical, rather than the standard horizontal position, which blocked the viewing the instrumentation panel from clear view.
$220.00 for a 20 footer covering 79 miles that, fortunately, our situation made the rental available for me to drive it as I'm almost certain my wife would have wrecked it, let alone one of my kids. I'm not ruling out pursuing restitution as I played with a fixed deck by being put into a situation to where I had no choice but to use it since we had a tight day and a half window of time to move our belongings to our new home.
Not happy.

I had an early pickup. The u-haul app repeated said I wasn’t at the right location but I was. I called 1-800-gouhaul and the lady who answered sounded sleepy and then hung up on me. When I finally got the app to work it got to a point that asked for an alternate reference. I provided one and the app said there would be a call within 3 minutes but never did. I finally gave up. While I was at Midguard the owner came but refused to help me on 2 separate occasions. I finally had to go home and return when the Midguard office opened at 9 am. This put me behind in my move. U-auls early pickup app is crap. I will never use Midguard again and will never recommend them to anyone. Horrible experience with both U-haul and Midguard.

An official u-haul location is close to my house but is typically chaotic. For this rental I chose Midgard Self Storage in Lutz. They have a good inventory available and my truck along with 2 furniture dollies already in the vehicle. Their virtual assistant system did not recognize my phone number for some reason but a simple button push started a video conference with a dedicated Midgard representative. It was very easy. This was especially important as I've never ever had a positive experience with the U-Haul app.
