Worst experience ever at a U-Haul. Went there the 1st time and forgot my id, CC, my fault. Came back 30 mins later and BOTH employees are at lunch with a sign that read "be back at 2:00pm". 2:08pm and one of them returns. I let the guy know that I've been waiting for 38 mins and he could have cared less. We've rented for over U-Haul places and always have had great customer service.

THESE PEOPLE HAVEN'T IMPROVED SINCE THE LAST REVIEW WHATSOEVER. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS LOCATION. I ordered a U-Box online for pick up at this location to move my belongings from Tampa to Reno - this includes picking up the box, packing the box at home, and returning the box on the same day. I was under the impression that U-Haul could offer me solace and a stress-free experience, because moving across the country is stressful enough. My appointment was set at 9:00 am, but received a voicemail at 8:58 am asking for a return call as there was an issue with the box. I was already in the parking lot and this location opens at 8:00 am for this business day. After walking in, it was explained to me that the forklift driver was not scheduled until 11:00 am, and I would not be able to pick it up at this time. Why I was able to schedule an appointment hours earlier than this is beyond me. I accept that things do fall through the cracks and went back home. I was told I would receive a call when the U-Box was ready "around 11:00 am." Well, I was tired of waiting and had to call the location at 12:30 pm. Keep in mind folks that in the Florida summer, the middle of the afternoon is the absolute WORST time to load heavy belongings such as furniture, beds, etc. I arrive at 1:00 pm to receive my unit and during my third 25 minute commute I did not hesitate to contact their national customer service hotline to complain. I was not greeted when I reentered the facility, and the employees had a POOR attitude. I patiently waited (and was ignored) for 30 minutes until I was helped. At this point I was worried that my belongings would not be available later in Reno (although it is guaranteed by U-Haul's website) and wanted to verify with the location that my belongings would be shipped out the following day, as I was returning the box this same day. Because each location is responsible for processing this paperwork, I sat in the lobby until this process was complete. I was no longer going to allow the ineptitude of these employees to effect my shipment. Additionally, I called the general manager (whose "cell phone" number was posted throughout the store) and received no response. I emailed him with my concerns and was also ignored. Absolutely awful experience having to load my belongings in the middle of a 95 degree afternoon which was EXACTLY what I was trying to avoid in the first place.

Made a reservation for a uhal truck a month in advance called to confirm and they couldn't find my reservation. Made a new one with the guy there and it was for the wrong truck. I asked if my truck would be there when I went to pick it up and he told me "I don't know". Poor customer service and they lost my business.
