I've never had a more positive experience at a veterinarian's office. They are very efficient, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. We have 12 cats and 3 dogs, and I highly recommend this office.

Compared to other Veterinarians his prices are very reasonable and as far as care is concerned my wife and I have never had any issues. Please Karen, spare us the your Dog is over weight speech. We are aware of this and are working on allining a diet regimen in which we must agree to stick with. My guess is Karen is assigned this duty because Dr Harrison is not willing to address the over weight issue. We went to the Vet with what we suspected was a UTI not knowing we were going to get the 15 min speech about our dog being over weight and not to mention the 2nd speech in the last 2 years.Another improvement being Dr Harrison has started communicating with the customer again you can actually ask questions and get a response unlike in the past treat the animal then dart for the door. So, over all Dr Harrison has provided good pet care over the years.Jeff Morris. Macclenny

My dog just needs an injection, something that takes 10 seconds to do. So figured I'd go in and get before the waiting room fills up. ( Sammy doesn't get along well with others). Well they tell me the vet has to be present, but I get in the back room and they tell me the opposite!. So I take Sammy in there when the vet tech is and get the same song and dance. Their office policy needs to be revised. Something that take 10seconds to do, now takes 30min to an hour to. I call BS.

Very unfortunate circumstances for my family and our dog who loved our newborn baby girl. I advocated for my dog, by bringing him to see Dr. Harrison, and sadly Dr. Harrison was indeed negligent and was overall lacking care (If you don't want to read on, I'll spare you the details, with a second opinion we found out my dog was internally bleeding and is now dead).I brought my dog to this office to be seen because my dog had a bloated tummy, and was not feeling good-- I explained the back story as to why my dog was there (recent run in issue with ticks and he ate a steak), the words the Dr used made me doubt myself for even bringing my dog here in the first place come to find out with a second opinion there was a very specific reason and my intuition was indeed very accurate with something being wrong.Dr. Harrison looked my dog over and said, "This dog's body score is completely healthy, bright pink gums- I don't want to be negligent in missing anything, but I don't see anything". For me, I was in total disbelief with his response, because I know my dog. My dog was sick and in pain. The Dr continued playing it off as I was trying to justify the symptoms. His response, "well dog's don't eat much when it's hot out, "I know you have him in the a/c all day, but that's just how dogs get". He continued to say, "I don't always think there's a reason to send someone home with something if there's not reason". As I continued to talk about how I felt my dog wasn't normal Dr. Harrison said, "Bring him back in a day or two if nothing changes"........and at this very point I felt like I could no longer trust anything more he said. Not to mention but worth adding, the cold nature of the rest of the office staff (both of the vet techs were very nice, so I don't want anyone thinking I'm trying to run down a blame game) , when I walked in I stood up front waiting but was ignored by the front office staff (i walked in with a baby/stroller and my dog--so my hands were full, no big deal for me, I just tried to move around people so i was out of the way but ended up sitting down so I didn't have to rudely push through several other customers), as soon as I sat down after waiting nearly 10 mins or so, someone else walked in right behind me, the staff immediately and warmly welcomed him and asked him to sign-in.... infront of me.Collectively, I couldn't bring myself to return to this office--if they don't care about me, they definitely don't care about my dog (which was both the case in my experience looking back). After this harsh reality, I decided to drive to Jacksonville for a second opinion. The 2nd opinion vet was immediately concerned about my dogs lethargy, bowel movements, urinating, lack of appetite, bloated stomach, pale gums etc. (*All things that Dr Harrison originally INSISTED WERE NORMAL)-- the 2nd opinion immediately ordered diagnostics (ultrasounds, x-rays, bloodwork). Come to find out my dog was INTERNALLY BLEEDING from a tumor. We decided to have surgery done and the vet suctioned out TWO LITRES OF BLOOD from my dog's abdomen-- but somehow based off of Dr. Harrisons "assessment" my dog was SO HEALTHY.I have to ask, how can a seasoned vet miss this? Unfortunately, we had to make a gut wrenching decision and my dog is now no longer with us, and Dr Harrison's assessments for serious matters cannot be trusted and you should most certainly go somewhere else if you want to save your animal's life.

I was referred here by a friend. I brought some puppies in and they were in and out. The longest I had to wait was for the tests to be done and that only took like 5 minutes. The staff were great and I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg thank goodness considering my situation. I would recommend anyone to go here. The drive for me is 35-40 minutes and I will continue going there. That should say enough.

My mom suggested this vet due to our dog having an infection on her skin. They took her right in and were very knowledgeable. We saw results within hours. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is caring and friendly.

Do not recommend this vet office, they were very rude with me and quick to have me leave even though I had questions about spaying my cat, the woman who gave me my cat after the surgery made a comment about her being aggressive before giving her back to me. Which didn’t bother me until I got home and opened the box to find that they forgot the most important part of this surgery. The cone. Which I had paid for in advance. And they never explained anything to me. Never gave any type of post op directions, or tips. Leaving me anxious about my pet and her health and frustrated from paying for something I didn’t receive! Very unprofessional. Will not be going back.
