Room was very old and falling apart, missing many things, like towel rack, cracked floors, rusty mirrors. Door lock was very flimsy, broken lamp, lights not working, not very clean.
Walkability: Was right on the beach. That was the only advantage.

Management was the best ever here. Had a few problems , but was abled to resolve them. Id recommend going here. Just make sure you don't forget your wristband if you go swimming there, don't bother ordering food from roof top bar. They messed mine up twice. Other than that good luck and enjoy your stay there

Rooms were clean but the hotel was just old and already sold to put up high rise hotels shortly. It a 100% good place for location if u wanna be steps to beach and have a doggy ? cause they love pets if u have a service card . ?
Food and drinks: Choices of restaurants and johns pass is a mile or few away by car or lyft.

Room was ready hours prior. Awesome service at the desk. Location is amazing. Right on the beach.. beautiful sunset.. we were able to park early. now for the negatives: room smelled to the point I got a severe migraine that lasted two days and i only stayed 1 night. We left as soon as I woke up. I am very sensitive to mold mildew and perfume smells. No heat and didn't realize that til after the office closed, which is 4pm. I was scared to sleep under the blanket which i didnt. This is a no on my maderia beach stays. Kind of expensive for what it was.. really outdated and needs a big face-lift inside.. this room 111 should be checked as to why it smells so bad ? ? it smelled of roach bait/spray for the palmetto bugs. ?Rooms: Needs a major face lift and deodorizerNearby activities: John's pass is about 1 mile.Walkability: Lots of stuff to do near by

The views and location are excellent. The property itself could use some polishing though. Small things like missing light fixture globes, or the strings on the blinds missing and/or broken could be fixed. As the hotel is in a damp location being next to the gulf, wiping the accumulated grime off the window frames would also help boost the appeal. Overall I wouldn't stay again, but I also wouldn't recommend someone not stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, it's just not for me.

It's one of my favorite places to stay.... affordable, great view, and no resort fee....parking fees or any other silly charges. Clean room, nice location, and great staff.
