Whomever is responsible for pricing the holiday merchandise needs to do their job. I visited this dollar General when all the Christmas went on sale for 50% off. I had a basket full and when I got to the register to check out, none of the items had been married down. The sales associate had to go in and manually change the prices for every item I had. I was at the check out for over 30 minutes.
It’s bad enough that the store shelves are always empty. Do your job !

Disappointed with my service! And there is never anything on the shelves!!! Can’t walk no where in the store due to roll trainers everywhere! This place keeps going down hill!

Went to Dollar General today to purchase a small DVD player for outdoor movie night. I asked the clerk if I could look at one they had behind the counter. He said yes. I opened the box to see if it had the right rca connection for my LCD player. I had just verified that I'd did when the manager came out yelling "what are you doing! You can't do that." Then turned to yell at the clerk, they argued, all while I am being completely embarrassed in front of a line of customers. I was so embarrassed I couldn't stay in the line so I handed it to the manager and said I changed my mind. I got my wife and left. I told the manger on the way out she really needed to not embarrass her customers that way. I got my DVD player from some place else. They didn't seem to mind if I checked the unit at all...

Gotta say the first time I went to this store when I moved here it looked like a cyclone hit it and I could barely maneuver my way right back out of the store. That has to be a huge liability to the store?? Well I needed something that the dollar tree did not have so I chanced it one more time.........glad I did. It's come a long way and looks nice, still a bit more of stocking to do but the store looked great and I could walk around with a basket. This show of pride in a business will definitely get me back in to spend money on those retail therapy daysThe store staff is very friendly and nice which makes the visit more pleasurable tooKudos to Dollar General in Madison Florida

I shop at Dollar General weekly and was thrilled when our small town got a larger store. I am not sure what is going on but it is deplorable. Boxes everywhere, items on the floor that should be on the shelf, rarely anyone at the register or close to answer a question. You could walk out with whatever and no one would be the wiser. This store needs serious help!

Went there yesterday for advil...NO advil. Today, car wash soap I always buy there, out of stock! But there are pallets at the end of each isle stacked high with merchandise. What's the point in going there if they have nothing you need. Shelves were empty in EVERY department. Why do they not have a person JUST stocking shelves?

I was waiting in line behind a woman with a full cart. The cashier saw me waiting. After the woman pays for her items, another man just barges in front of me and starts putting items on the counter. DG gets one star because the cashier started ringing him up! I just dropped my items on the floor and left. Absolutely RUDE.
