The Habitat Golf Course is a beautiful and challenging public course located near the Indian River Lagoon and Brevard County’s southern boundary. Surrounded by wetlands, pine forests, and rolling terrain, it offers a peaceful setting where wildlife such as sandhill cranes, gopher tortoises, and scrub-jays can often be seen. The course features imaginative topographical elements, including mounded fairways, water features, and elevation changes, making each hole unique and testing for players of all skill levels. Notable holes like the Scottish 6th and Carolina Style 13th provide a memorable challenge, especially from the back tees, which some consider among the toughest on the space coast. The course is kept in great shape, with fast greens and a layout that appeals to both beginners and experienced golfers. The facilities include a large driving range and a good practice area. Staff members are friendly and courteous, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Many players appreciate the natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and stunning water views on holes 9 and 18. Overall, The Habitat Golf Course is highly recommended for its challenging play, scenic environment, and friendly service.
I was over from Fort Myers working, and decided to go play at this course. I'll tell you what, this is a very well maintained public course. I will definitely be back there to play when I'm over in that area working again. Y'all are awesome.
