Dolphin Research Center is a nonprofit marine mammal education and research facility that has provided sanctuary and a forever home for dolphins and sea lions since 1984. Most of the dolphins were born at the center, representing multiple generations, while others were rescued from different facilities. The center offers visitors the chance to experience the dolphins' unique personalities through interactive programs, including swimming with dolphins and enjoying educational presentations featuring acrobatics and training. Families are encouraged to visit and learn about the care the dolphins receive. Many visitors appreciate the low-key atmosphere and the focus on education rather than high-energy shows. The staff is known for their knowledge and dedication, ensuring all guests feel welcome and respected, especially military veterans. Visitors consistently express their amazement at the dolphins' happiness and well-being, making their experiences memorable and fulfilling. Dolphin Research Center is recognized for fostering a connection between people and marine life, inspiring champions for conservation.
Amazing facility and staff. We did a dolphin splash with 2 of our kids they absolutely loved it. The dolphins all seem so happy and content. The facility really pays attention to each dolphin and recognizes when something is a little off. We will definitely come back.

Brought our 5 and 2 year olds and they loved seeing the show about dolphin facts and watching them show off with fun acrobatics and flips! Recommend it!
