If you want a real laid-back keys experience away from all of the hustle and bustle of Key West, marathon is a great place to experience it. This place is very low key but has all of the room amenities of higher cost hotels. I think they are going to be doing some updates to the outside. They had some scaffolding but were not doing any work while we were there, and it was very quiet. The rooms are super clean and have everything you could possibly need. Communication from them is also excellent and they respond very quickly. We will definitely be back.

Great motel with well-decorated, clean rooms just off the Overseas Highway. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our room was - we had an edge room with balconies on two sides and a great view of the 7-mile bridge. Location is great and the Sunset Grill next door was an excellent place to eat. Swimming pool looked nice although we didn’t make use of it. So note that there is no elevator and most rooms are on the second or third level. I saw one accessible suite in the ground floor. There is also no onsite staff, which wasn’t an issue for us.

This was an air BNB. The location was good, it was located the last exit before entering 7mile bridge. We did initially have a problem getting into the room. The code was not working until we called and they did a reset. The room was clean, and provided all necessary items. Full size kitchen and dishes were provided. The beds were alot firmer than I expected. The water pressure from the shower could have been better (pretty weak actually). The dual shower head was not working properly either.. Walking distance to the sunset grille that had stairs that went to the bridge. Pretty cool actually.. The facility has a pool and Ice maker downstairs. It has 3 levels, no elevator. And we did have a 16month old baby on the 3rd floor. Room 108. So beware or prepared. Neighbors and people around the area were nice and friendly. Overall, I would stay here again.

Great location next to the 7-mile bridge. Spectacular view of the sunset. The two bedroom suite was super spacious. We loved having an outdoor sitting area and we enjoyed the pool.

Asked for a specific room, a 2 bedroom apartment and got a 2 bed in one room. Wasn't much help to make the situation right.

Great location, budget friendly, not a fancy place but clean and comfy for wife and to use as base to enjoy the keys! Nice little kitchen to make a small meal or snack.

My wife and I stayed here on the weekend of 5/21 and of all the places we've stayed at, this has been one of, if not, the best places to stay. The room was very clean and organized. The furniture in our room was a bit scruffed up but otherwise workable. The stone countertops make it feel very welcoming. We had a great view of the 7 Mile Bridge to watch the sunsets. Lots of dining options around within an 1/8 of a mile. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Knight's Key Inn has limited rooms but their other location on Overseas Hwy has more rooms and has a marina if you decide to come by boat or wanna launch your boat. Overall, I could not say enough good things about this place and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Marathon!!!

I want to start by saying their office is about a mile up the road before the hotel. It's in the Marina portion. We didn't know this and couldn't get them to answer the phone. Someone else in the motel told us how to find them. Unit 107 is on the third floor with no elevator. If stairs are an issue, make sure they know. The unit was clean but the bathroom smelled horrible. No ventilation if the door stays closed. So after the housekeeper cleaned it, she closed the door while it was almost 100 outside and no AC in the bathroom. The toilet took about 20 minutes to refill and the bathroom cabinet fell off the door. The back sliding glass door didn't lock at all. I give it 3 stars for the comfort of the beds and pillows. The room was large enough for 3 to move around comfortably.
