They were awesome for us at the worst time. Saying bye to your pet is not easy but we are sure glad they were there to help us. Staff and doctor were super compassionate and the facility is excellent and clean and comfortable .

Everyone took excellent care of my Spanish Pouter Pigeon. The follow up was great, and everyone in the clinic was so sweet to him ❤️.

We live on a boat and we are on our way cruising to the Bahamas. Our dog "Dock" needed some stiches removed as well as all the necessary shots and paperwork to get his health certification for entry into the Bahamas. We called on short notice for an appointment and the receptionist was vey understanding and got us fitted in with no issues. The staff was very friendly and we (and Dock) really felt comfortable with the vet Dr. del Pino. She spent a lot of time with us and she clearly went the extra mile helping us. Thank you for all your help! Dock now gets to visit the Bahamas!

I have a 10 years old pitbull-boxer puppy (Aries) who is frightened of vet clinics and act aggressively. Recently he needed to remove few moles(bumps) and get necessary vaccinations. We tried going to a few local clinics but Aries wouldn’t let anyone muzzle and sedate him, he snaps and growls, so we’ve been advised to go to a hospital. I was worried that no one can help us because of his behavior.. However we had a great experience here, the professionalism, clear communication and calm demeanor between staff during procedure made me feel confident that my fur baby is receiving the best care. I can’t say enough wonderful things about doctor, vet tech and front office staff. Everyone was so helpful, empathetic, caring and supportive.(PS. Aries feels great and recovering quickly)We are entirely grateful for your help.

Been coming here for almost 4 years and I've always loved the staff. They've always taken great care of my critters. Especially Mr. Jones! It's hard finding local lellvets who care so well for both domestic and exotic pets

We need to have a vet for our new puppy here in Florida. After searching and reading reviews, we picked Marathon Veterinary Hospital. They are friendly, caring and so knowledgeable on all things pet.Breez received the best care. Highly recommend them.

Do Not Use This Vet Ever!!! They are corporate run now, have new owners/staff, do not care about the animals and are all about squeezing money out of vulnerable and scared people.

We were traveling through this area and my GSD had an issue. Marathon Vet Hospital was responsive and got us in the next morning. I was very happy with the quality of the service and attention, and would definitely return. Highly Recommended!

I thought the level of care they provided was adequate but $300 to diagnose an ear infection? Their minimum office visit charge without anything was almost $100. Then another $200 + for other things. I called another vet hospital outside of the area where I live but where I’m moving to next year and thank God their office visit charge was $54.00 so I can look forward to being able to afford to pay for my pet’s care. I can see why pet shelters are getting such an influx of pets these days because in these difficult economic times, people simply can’t afford to pay outrageous medical bills.

We brought our senior (14.5 year old) labrador down to the keys from Virginia. Poor girl! I think we tortured her on that LONG 2 day journey. It was BAD! She was in distress and couldn't recover. I thought we were going to have to put her to sleep. Thank goodness for Marathon Veterinary Hospital!!! They were amazing! I cannot thank them enough! Not only is my baby coming home with me, but she actually got to enjoy the vacation too. A million thank yous to them!!!!!!!

I am incredibly disappointed and a little disgusted with how our appointment went last week. My 14 month old ACD and I are new to the area and as such are looking to find a veterinarian for all the things a dog would need medical care for. My girl is wee bit sensitive to strangers, but once she gets the chance to meet, she's all love.I scheduled an appointment as a meet and greet to give her a chance to visit the vet office and have a positive first experience. Multiple times during the visit I iterated that it was to be noninvasive.I'm not sure what part of noninvasive includes a rectal thermometer and apparently neither was the vet tech. My girl's previous vet used an ear thermometer so this has never been a part of her vet care.My girl let the tech know, very gently, three separate times that she was not OK with what was happening. The tech seemed insistent on getting that thermometer up her butt, I don't know why for this visit. Finally, my girl assertively let the tech know she was done with the thermometer by attempting to snap at the thermometer. Yes, the tool not the hand that was holding it. The thermometer got dropped on the ground and that's what my girl snapped at.Next thing I know, as vet tech is feeding my girl a yummy treat, the vet walks in and immediately sticks her hand in my dog's face. Of course my sensitive-to-strangers-just-got-traumatized dog didn't care for that and she responded with a snap, no contact, just asserting her space. They brought in a muzzle and tried to force it on her. She was terrified and shaking. It was a terrible experience for the both of us.Please note, I am not opposed to muzzling a dog-with the proper training. I am not opposed to medication for anxiety. What I am opposed to is the aggressive behavior of the people at the vet's office that caused the anxiety in my dog in the first place. Also, I have yet to receive an emailed copy of the receipt from the visit. And the search for a new vet continues.

Do yourself and your pet a good thing and stay away from this place. My pappion was quoted 950.00 for bloodwork plus the office visit of 85.00 and have to wait 5 days for results, what a joke!Drove up to the mainland to a reputable 24 hour vet at midnight and they did ex-rays, bloodwork, prescription, office visit for under 800.00 and nice people.Just so everyone knows, Marathon vet hospital is now corporate owned and they can care less about your pet and just want the $. I am by far a cheap person especially when it comes to my family and pets well being but why should I pay that kind of money when it takes 5 days to get results. For the $ they charge in Marathon they should have first class service.
